I can be sarcastic or get carried away but I go back to what one of my favorite engineering teachers says: you won't be wrong or liable if you stick to the facts. Write down what you know is right and go from there. A lot of these Republican talking points are anti-nuance and anti-intellectual. Most of what they say aren't facts nor do they want to get to the facts and address reality. I can't get down with that.

Of course academia has an inherent left wing bias. Are college professors suppose to be teaching anti-medical science bullshyt about how vaccines cause brain damage and death? Are they suppose to tell us how Trump was the greatest President of all time, Jan 6 was a peaceful occasion, and the deep state was against him? Should they be teaching kids that slavery was a net positive job training program that benefited black people like they teaching kids in Florida? Should they be teaching Bible creationism instead of evolution like conservatives would love? That clinate change is not real and a left wing conspiracy theory? In fact should professor just outright ban and refuse to teach certain subjects like evolution, climate change, enviromentalism, race politics, sexuality, communism, and so on like Republicans are trying to do by law across the country?
Conservatives are straight up dumbasses who reject academia, new ideas, and critical thinking by virtue of their core "traditional" beliefs. Its not the fault of "elitist liberals" that yall are inherently ignorant, close minded, and always on the wrong side of history.
Conservatives worship Donald Trump even after an attempted coup. Republicans are getting their ass kicked election after election because they overturned Roe v Wade and are going to take other measures against established civil rights in this country. Being liberal or conservative isnt about how you choose to live your life, raise your own family, or run your own household you idiot. It's not about "forcing" others to live a certain way. It's rooted in scientific study and history that you are not aware of because being conservative is about rejecting science while mythologizing some perfect history--where racism and homosexuality and other things apparently didn't exist.
