I'm gonna tag @The Dankster into this thread since he's gonna have this data on tabs likely and it'd be tough for me to post it all from a phone.
Those 90s teams weren't "great." :laff:

Because they were actors who shared the stage alongside Jordan and the Bulls who were "great", people mislabel the teams they faced as great. Those were "good" teams at best in the 90s. "Great" teams died in the 80s.
Well shyt at least he played somebody in the finals...nikka always had a cakewalk to get there and still fukked that up several times

Meanwhile Jordan faces the east at its height
:dahell: who was out east in the 90's besides the magic in 1995 and 1996 (the magic also lost pretty much everyone to injury in the 1996 ecf)? From 2006-today the east has seen the heat led by Wade and Shaq, the pistons through 2008, and the 2008-12 celtics at least.

People keep saying "who did Lebron face in the east ?"...........who did Jordan face in the east ?

The knicks were a 1 star basketball team(Ewing) and were playing Power fowards at the SF position(Mason,Smith)

The Pacers were a 1 star team(Miller),and he wasn't even a top 15 player for most of his career

The year the bulls beat orlando,Penny was not 100% in the playoffs.

The Heat ?....Lol....they couldn't even beat the knicks.

I'm pretty sure Shaq and penny were the only two magic players who actually stayed healthy that series. Grant played 28 total minutes, and nobody but Shaq or penny even averaged 5 points if I recall right. Gonna double check now. Spot on about the Knicks and pacers.

Edit: Shaq, penny, Anderson, and Scott were the only four guys to play all 4 games and even average 20 minutes per game the team was hit so hard by injuries. Scott shot 26.5% from the field, 15.8% from deep, and 61% at the line. Anderson shot 31% from the field, 20% from deep, and 36.4% at the line. They averaged between 7-8.8 points per game roughly.

Thanks.

That Suns team had 5 All-Stars on it.
No they didn't :mjlol:
:mjlol:

They had Majerle, Chambers, Ainge, Ceballos, and cokehead Richard Dumas averaging double figures:gucci:
Stop with the namedropping my god :snoop:

They ranked 18th in opponents points per game and 17th in opponents FG% you are not winning a title with that defense.

oh look an original thread :ohhh: thankfully this thread hadn't been made in the last couple months :whew:

the Spurs and Warriors were great teams. as were the Jazz and those early 90s Blazers are underrated.

Lebron's path to the finals each year has been far easier than what Jordan had to face.
and Jordan never loss to a team he was better than. Lebron has done that multiple times
also, the Bulls would have beat every team Lebron faced in the finals :yeshrug:

Lmao.....please tell me about the great teams in the east in 90s :comeon:

The Knicks and pacers, with one star each ? The east was a complete joke back then. I doubt those knick and pacer teams could even beat this years Celtics, Wizards, or raptors. Peak my azz

Y'all need to stop with this.

The Celtics that Bron had to face with THREE HOF'S is better than those Knicks or Pacers Squads.

The East was just as trash then if not even more.

Those loser ass squads get proped up cause they played against Jordan.

Honestly the east didn't pick back up until around the time Shaq came to Miami. By then at least there were multiple contenders from 2005-2012 at least. Aside from those two years of the magic before Shaq went to Los Angeles, the east from 1991-98 wasn't much better than 1999-2004 save for the bulls honestly. Obviously they would struggle now. They weren't built to shoot 3's at all. Teams didn't prioritize them at all back then. The rockets team that won it all in I think 1995 led the league in 3's, but their attempts would've been good for I think 16th or 17th by 2011. Same reason the grizzlies have had trouble in this era. With they could've shown up about 10 years sooner. They might've made the finals if so.

fukk outta here. That celtics team was on its last legs. with none of those guys in their prime. 2011 was the best version of that team that Lebron beat and they were no where near what they were in 2008. :camby:

and the east has been way worse in the last 6 years than it ever was in the 90s. ain't no 30 for 30s gonna be made on those paul george/roy hibbert pacers or that one man show Bulls team

Why are you posting this old infographic? This information is flawed because it didn't take the lockout into account which is why some of the teams LeBron faced didn't have 50 wins even though they likely would have given their pace...

'16 Golden State Warriors | 73 wins
'16 Toronto Raptors | 56 wins
'15 Atlanta Hawks | 60 wins
'14 Chicago Bulls | 50 wins
'14 Indiana Pacers | 56 wins
'13 San Antonio Spurs | 58 wins, in reality a 60+ win team Pop rests guys
'12 Oklahoma City Thunder | 47 wins, in lockout shortened season on pace for 58 wins
'12 Boston Celtics | 39 wins, in lockout shortened season on pace for 50 wins, in reality early injuries hurt their win totals
'12 Indiana Pacers | 42 wins, in lockout shortened season on pace for 53 wins
'11 Chicago Bulls | 62 wins
'11 Bostons Celtics | 56 wins
'07 Detroit Pistons 53 wins

By the time LeBron retires he'll probably have beaten 15-18 50+ win teams. Also, LeBron is the only one to have beaten a 70 win team out the names on that list.

LeBron has 12, two more than Bird and he's tying/passing Magic this season :umad:
