Physical doesn't=better, and defensive rotations are far better today than then.

Post play usually makes defenses react differently...of course rotations are easier when they dont have to cover the paint. Add the factor of harder long distance shot.. Seemingly better defense.

How do you figure when there is practically zero good one-on-one defenders. Combine that with lack of players that can hit an open jump shot and that equals over exaggerated defense. Tyson Chandler is a weak side help defender, who is he going to guard....
