It's safe to say that if Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was writing pivotal historical texts and unearthing forgotten legacies it would be common knowledge and I would be instantly corrected. He's written a lot of Op-Ed articles throughout the decades. I've read a few since the early 90s, but more than likely a lot of them are buried until someone unearths them. He still has a few books out there available to the masses, but the rest takes digging.
