LeBron will just be the face of whatever the Vegas franchise turns into so I don’t even think it matters if he’s an ally or not. But him turning into a full time ambassador for the game is a dream for Silver and Bron wouldn’t have much choice but to do it for the sake of the team not becoming the next Pelicans or Hornets.

With Vegas, you either turn into a darling like the Golden Knights, be doubted out the gate like whatever the A’s are trying to do or be some “welp now we’re here” shīt like the Raiders.

Idk if that's because the plan is to build a new arena (plus expansion fee) as part of that $7B. Seems kind of dumb to build an arena when T-Mobile has a 20k capacity

There's a few reasons...the new Vegas team will be playing in a brand new arena that will be a part of a 7 billion dollar hotel/casino that's about to get built

Look at the Raiders... before they left Oakland the franchise worth was one the lowest in the NFL...I think they are top 10 in all of sports right now and thats because the tickets are the most expensive in the NFL ... Every season ticket is sold out ... Las Vegas is a big reason.. it's a destination city
