How the fukk can LeBron or Durant ruin parity when the NBA's really never had it? You can't stop something that wasn't there. Only era where there was legit parity was the 70s and the NBA was on life support

50s & 60s was Bill Russell's Celtics running shyt, winning 11 titles in 13 years. Celtics & Lakers won 8 out of 10 titles in the 80s. Bulls won 6 titles in 8 years during the 90s. Then after Jordan retired, the Lakers & Spurs won 9 titles in 12 years. Now we have LeBron making the Finals 7 years in a row and the Warriors on the brink of a dynasty.

Some years might have had an illusion of parity, but for the most part it's never existed.

Every super team of the past was put together by a GM/owner. Now that a player does it it's taboo. 96-98 Bulls were a super team. But the GM did it so it's cool. 04 Lakers were a super team and lost a Championship. 80s showtime was a super team. 08 Celtics were a super team. If I'm not mistaken, the Celtics won a ring in the 80s and were gonna get Len Bias in the draft. If LeBron, a free agent, went to any .500 team in 2010 they would have won rings. He shifts the balance no matter where he went. The teams he's won rings with had a combined 1 championship in almost 75 years of existing. Everything will be fine Lakers and Celtics have a combined 30+ championships.
