His biggest issue is he's a full court player who excels in transition. He needs to learn how to understand the 5v5 game when organized. He's not a natural like Bron.
Good point. He doesnt know how to attack in the half court.

Part of the problem is he's not overally quick in the half court in terms of getting to the rim. Seems like he's got good speed in transition tho like you said.

Even the sorriest NBA players like pat bev were dominating in HS and AAU. It’s concerning that Bronny has games scoring 6 pts

It’s many NBA players that didn’t break out till they JR and Senior years.

We don’t know what Bronny will do.
Usually it works backwards though. Guys are stars and then have to develop one skillset to last in the league. So if he's a role player thats fine. However, he needs to at least develop one elite trait if we're taking NBA. Cause teams will gamble on other guys because they have more potential (and have proven) they can be aggressive.
I think BallisLife, etc all those mixtape sites did him a diservice. When they were posting clips it seemed like a highlight package. When really they'd just show the 3 or 4 buckets he made all game. He just hasnt broken out in years that it seems like this is who he is (when playing with great players)

He just ain’t it just like Zaire Wade wasn’t it either. Both of these dudes went to the Calabasas Lakers and are/were glorified role players at best.

At some point, the IG/Overtime/BallIsLife players get exposed (like Mikey and hopefully not Emoni) and we already know they will get humbled in college (like Shareef) and then be on the outer fringes if they make it to the league (like Bol Bol).

that’s just the reality of it.

the sure fire dudes are doing what they need to do (Suggs) and the ones that weren’t the big dogs (like Scottie Pippen, Jr.) are busting their asses in college so they don’t become Mac McClung status.

Exactly nikkas on here just talk stupid. Pat Bev DOMINATED the Chicago public school league and tore up the AAU circuit just because some of those guys don’t go on to be superstars in the league don’t mean they wasn’t nice in HS

Bronny has athleticism and resources. He’s clearly a high major D1 player at minimum which means he has a realistic chance to be a pro prospect at some point. He’s also very purposefully not been put in a position to ‘star’ anywhere. Playing AAU with older guys and guys who are clearly stars and then playing high school ball with star players and being forced to play a role and earn what he gets. Who knows how it will turn out but the kid has talent

:gucci:

he was a freshman when Sierra Canyon had a team full of 5 star seniors.

he had a meniscus injury last season, and plus Cali shut everything down with COVID. They don’t operate like the south where we still had full seasons of all sports last season.

y’all ready to write off a 16 year old kid already when he really hasn’t had the chance to show his true potential yet
