They’re too young for that
Cut it out.
But i respect Bone. Wu Tang is worldwide baby.
maybe they shoulda been world wide with their weak ass sales in the 90s thenhow can they be in same generation and bone kill them sales wise bu Wu supposedly is more popular? Because of a hipster shirt? Thats the bar we using to determine how popular something is
a shirt sold in Zumiez
Bone killed Wu tang in the 90s and 2000s, not even close, not even a competition, not even a discussion it blows my mind that someone could even gather this thought in their head its the most irrational take in hip hop history that wu was fukking with bone in any way
itd be different if the sales were close then maybe a discussion of biggest rap group could be had
but wu tang sales were trash compared to bone thugslike millions less
so what discussion is their to be had
in the 90s, the economy was good, people supported what they wanted to support. No one gave a shyt about Wu Tang cause they sales would suggest otherwise.. you cant rewrite history on that... their best selling album ever is like Bones 5th best selling album
theirs no logic or rational thought put behind "wu is bigger than bone" argument just dumbass new york stans or hipster geeks, no inbetween.
some of you dudes live in candyland.
lol @ the migos being young kids. 2 of them are pushing 30.
you cant make statements like migos did, and expect people to sit back and take it. especially people who are way more qualified.
be real with the game.
how many groups can match their resume??
Bone had great sales because Crossroads crossed over with the white mainstream.
I was in high school in suburban Chicago when it dropped and even the most prissiest, whitebread cacette loved "Crossroads". That song was fukkin everywhere.....once Todd n Stacey pikked up on it, then Bone's sales skyrokketed
Sales don't equal quality or legacy.
. Wu Tang never had crossover singles like that
Bro i cant find that album ANYWHERE. I know bits and peices are out there but its not on Tidal
or Apple music smh. Something tells me Krayzie has something to do with it cuz all his Fix tape shyt is up

i'll prolly take the J5 catalog over mike's solo library, but I agree with the point you were trying to make.
wutang is moreso in the running for goat crew, rather than goat group. 36 chambers is their only classic group release, and even that album was kind of a clusterf*ck.
bone thugs is the only post-80s group that should be considered a lock for top 10.
your hair argument is stupid.
and bone was harmonizing on their first album already.
but I do agree that theres a few elements from that fellowship song "mary" that bone ran with and the rest is history. everybody takes elements from others and molds it into their own.
but to say that they outright bit their style is ludicrous. if bone flat-out bit fellowship, they would've never blew up cuz fellowship style is corny. but eazy definitely played their chit to them, and they were influenced by at least that song.
why did you post this??
wish bone was the one putting in the work in that story, but somehow ghostface gets the props for having bad aim and doing corny wutang chit like changing into a ninja suit for no reason.
Guess you debatingNah man...
