Im disgusted at the Bone Slander in this thread

Even if you dont think they pioneered they style, they the first to blow up with it which clearly had influence
Even if you dont think they the GOAT (and I dont but they top 10-15 off impact) understand what they did for anyone not from LA or NY (Just as much as Geto Boys )

No. That’s PE. WU has 2 classic albums. PE has 4. Solo albums are solo albums. Just like Mike solo albums don’t make the Jackson 5 the greatest r&b group ever.

i'll prolly take the J5 catalog over mike's solo library, but I agree with the point you were trying to make.

wutang is moreso in the running for goat crew, rather than goat group. 36 chambers is their only classic group release, and even that album was kind of a clusterf*ck.

bone thugs is the only post-80s group that should be considered a lock for top 10.

They were obviously biting the fu schickens/poor righteous teacher/wrath of kane styles on that early shyt :stopitslime:

Like I told you, Eazy gave them a tape and told them to switch their style up.

On the album you posted, it looked like Bizzy was rocking a fade. After they hooked up with Eazy, then he grew it out. I might be wrong, but you gotta show me pics of bizzy rocking that style in 91

your hair argument is stupid.
and bone was harmonizing on their first album already.

but I do agree that theres a few elements from that fellowship song "mary" that bone ran with and the rest is history. everybody takes elements from others and molds it into their own.

but to say that they outright bit their style is ludicrous. if bone flat-out bit fellowship, they would've never blew up cuz fellowship style is corny. but eazy definitely played their chit to them, and they were influenced by at least that song.

Cut it out.

But i respect Bone. Wu Tang is worldwide baby.

why did you post this??

wish bone was the one putting in the work in that story, but somehow ghostface gets the props for having bad aim and doing corny wutang chit like changing into a ninja suit for no reason.

These oldheads need to sit down and let the young kids talk they shyt.

Nah... i came in here with thinking that... but when migos say "we are the best ever" its a challenge.... I thought layzie qas about to be old man yelling at the clouds status but he has a right to challenge them

"Best group to ever exist"

You cant say that unless you are willing to back it up

You're a fukking idiot. Eazy-E gave Bone'Thugs a Freestyle Fellowship tape and told y'all to rap like that. 30 years later, you coked up alcoholics are still trying to claim yourselves as the greatest group. Go listen to crossroads for the 10,000 time and shut the fukk up :camby:

You sound like one of them "why there's a nikka up north better than jordan that aint get that break?" Ass nikkas....bone the goats... fukk a freestyle fellowship.

Bone changed flows every song, verse, every couple bars, mid bar.... shyt nobody does today and hasn't done since..

Bone was rapping fast and singing on faces of death (recorded in 91) before they met Eazy E ... not every song... but they did it enough as proof that it was already their style before they got anywhere near the music industry

:heh:

How is this evidence that they didn't bite flows? You just posted them rapping on some watered down fu-schnickens in 91, few years later and a couple meetings with Eazy-E and it's "It's the first of the mooooonth" Bizzy tried to bite Myka 9's look, too. :sas2: Changed up his hair and everything. :pachaha:

Watered down fushnikens? I dont think any of those nikkas ever hit the speed krayzie did in flow motion... let alone flowed like bizzy and wish... also faces of death has other songs with them harmonizing/singing.... they just didn't do it on every song...

E1999 is the best album made by any artist named in this thread

shyt is different.... you cant give those beats to any rapper and tell them "make songs with these".. E1999 was scarily good... to the point where it was believable they actually sold their soul for their ability to rhyme... entire album is perfection... there was no weak link in bone when the debuted so even wish was incredible...

Most songs on E1999 they were rapping as 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e....... very few songs on it where you can say "kray got that, buzzay got that etc." Best verse was interchangeable on every song

Yeah and everyone at the goodlife could do that by the 1990s off the top of their heads, what's your poinst :heh:
You probably think because bones had higher charting singles that makes them better :dead:
Probably think Da Lench Mob is better than Volume 10, too :dead:

Y'all give no props to the actual progenitors of this thing called hip-hop and choose to stan wack ass commercial imitations, then wonder why hip-hop is in such a degenerate state today.
Not my problem, it just shows you have a juvenile taste in music.
:pachaha:

Bone'Thugs is wack, has always been wack, and will always be wack. :umad:

I fukk with dude but all these bone children are lost.... first it was S.T.I.G with Bizzys sons and nephews... now Lil Bizzy seems to have broke away before the group even got out.

They need to do a group with lil bizzy, krayzie son, layzie son (j bone) and layzie daughter..they can even put in bizzy other sons too not sure which one from stig are his kids but i think cleve is his kid too

idk if wish or flesh kids do music

The tough part is Migos x Bone could be an amazing collaborative effort

I get migos not coming out and saying “yeah we’re bone/lord infamous clones” but paying homage even in a small way could keep these awkward generational beefs from sparking up.

The OG’s aren’t wrong to feel slighted when they see their style being used with no nod back to them.

Yet Hiphop was built on braggadocio and telling everyone you’re the illest etc so that’s nothing new to hear young artists stake their claim, it’s actually welcomed. If YOU dont think you’re the best, good luck because it’s going to come across on wax.

Hopefully this is minor.

Bone’s style and music would translate well to this next generation imo. .. . Plus it’s
been long enough to where it’s time to
start sampling them.
