maybe they shoulda been world wide with their weak ass sales in the 90s then :mjlol: how can they be in same generation and bone kill them sales wise bu Wu supposedly is more popular? Because of a hipster shirt? Thats the bar we using to determine how popular something is :mjlol: a shirt sold in Zumiez :mjlol:

Bone killed Wu tang in the 90s and 2000s, not even close, not even a competition, not even a discussion it blows my mind that someone could even gather this thought in their head its the most irrational take in hip hop history that wu was fukking with bone in any way

itd be different if the sales were close then maybe a discussion of biggest rap group could be had

but wu tang sales were trash compared to bone thugs :ld: like millions less :ld: so what discussion is their to be had :ld:

in the 90s, the economy was good, people supported what they wanted to support. No one gave a shyt about Wu Tang cause they sales would suggest otherwise.. you cant rewrite history on that... their best selling album ever is like Bones 5th best selling album :mjlol:

theirs no logic or rational thought put behind "wu is bigger than bone" argument just dumbass new york stans or hipster geeks, no inbetween.

You are an idiot.

I fukk with dude but all these bone children are lost.... first it was S.T.I.G with Bizzys sons and nephews... now Lil Bizzy seems to have broke away before the group even got out. They need to do a group with lil bizzy, krayzie son, layzie son (j bone) and layzie daughter..they can even put in bizzy other sons too not sure which one from stig are his kids but i think cleve is his kid too. idk if wish or flesh kids do music

they dont "need to" do none of that bro. if they don't think they make sense together then it is what it is, its doesn't take nothing away from their individual talent or make any of them "lost". but yeah bloodline harmony has some cool songs

I feel in alot of ways that Bone purposely doesn't get the recognition they deserve. At one point, Bone was one of the biggest groups in music and putting up numbers no rap group was doing along with the critical acclaim.

They also just made music that stands to the test of time. I feel like the Migos music while dope, won't be getting played 20-25 years from now. Their formula is working right now but I can't see it working that long without putting out high quality, classic worthy material.

Culture 1 was the blueprint on how they should create an album and sustain longevity. They fukked up Culture 2 completely due to greed, wanting to break stream records and pad their numbers.

Culture 2 came and went.
Quavo's album came and went
Takeoff's album never went anywhere. That rocket didn't take off.

None of which lived up to the hype.

The Migos are differently trending downward. If Offset don't hit with his album then QC should hit the panic button.

:mjlol: Bone was multi plat before this song even came out :mjlol: your memory must be fukked up

who you think buys any wu tang shyt in the past 15 years? Todd n Stacey :mjlol:

Yeah, actually they do... and some random poster named Trot LaRoc on some random site like the coli isnt going to change the universal rules for legacies and sales are a big part of that

Thats their fault.. had members hopping on fukking Mariah Carey songs , they tried their best to cross over.. the public just aint fukk with wu tang like that.

If people fukked with Wu Tang like that, they would of bought their records... its really just that simple..

only nerds and cacs say that fakkit shyt bout "dude... bone stole their style from michael 9 from freestyle flowship" FUK outta here. them st claire nikkas was not listening to no freestyle fellowship. give a fukk if FF and project blowed was from south central. nobody in ohio was ridin thru they hood playin no damn "hot potato" or "innercity boundaries". and tellin stories like eazy-e took bone to good life to peep the flows. lmao. nikkas been tongue twisting, rappin fast, harmonizing just as much in the midwest since the early 90s.... and they aint get it from no damn FF... stop it. god damn i hate dorks.

They might have not bit Freestyle Fellowship, but their whole image and beats was Cali influenced. :usure:Let's be real, if they didn't shoutout Cleveland at all, you would have thought they were from Cali. It's because Cali G-Funk dominated rap in the 90's. Even Biggie singles off Ready To Die sound like Cali shyt with synthesizers and Funk samples. Saying "bu-bu-but Ohio created Funk":feedme: is some mental gymnastics because Cali brought 70's and early 80's Funk back to life. NY was busy sampling Jazz during this time period and no outside of Cali was sampling Funk like that. And if they were, they did it in a way that sounded natural regionally (i.e. Geto Boys, UGK). Cali kept Funk alive throughout the 80's through the 90's. If you wanted to move records back in the 90's, you had to have some Cali influence. Which is why the greatest rapper of all time who repped Cali harder than anyone else wasn't even from there. :pacspit:All of those classic East Coast records that sampled hella Jazz went wood, Illmatic included, because the masses ain't want to hear no army fatigue wearing dusty looking nikka in the projects rapping over Grover Washington. They wanted to smoke weed and drink listening to Cali gangster shyt. :umad:Truth hurts.

Man in what criteria are they GOATS? Or against who? Not vs. Bone. Not vs Wu. Not vs PE. And just to keep it a lil simpler, Group > 2 members lol

Or maybe I'm biased since E1999 was one of the CDs from the pack that I recieved from the US that got a 7 y.o. hooked on Rap.

LOL at these fcuking self proclaimed GOATS.
