Contracts is basically all about the big three (offer, acceptance, consideration), mixed in with the contract defenses (which we didn't even get to that much until the second semester Contracts II class at my school actually). And if you're confused now, wait until you get to UCC 2-207. :shaq: It's way more confusing than it needs to be, but once you get it, it's like :ohhh:

We're not even doing that portion of contracts yet. We're currently learning Expectance Interest, Reliance Interest, Cost of Performance or Economic Value, Remoteness, Lost Volume

:gucci: If I recall, none of that shyt is on the bar. The basics of offer, acceptance, consideration, then the basics of like promissory estoppel and shyt like that, then the contract defenses are on the bar. Our professor did not go deep into too much else, but he did go pretty slow compared to the other 1L section.

Matter of fact, the hell is expectance interest and reliance interest? :scust: We would cover damages, but nothing I recall about interest.

It's the principles underlying compensation for a breach.

Expectance is supposed to put you in the position had the contract never been breached. Reliance puts you in the position had the contract never been made. The norm is monetary compensation using expectance.

Got you, I was confused about the interest part. Those were covered in my class, just don't remember them being called an interest. I remember expectation damages and reliance damages.

My recommendations are submitted to LSAC, I've finished up my personal statement/optional essays, and I updated my resume.

All I have to do is click submit but I keep going over everything again and again.

I'm shook, brehs. I want that scholarship money and I keep trying to get everything perfect.

Hey y’all I’m considering law school. What are some tips for the LSAT?

Order the old test and take as many LSATS as possible under timed test conditions. The more tests you take the easier it will become to spot correct answers.
