not a fan of SVU, but I have seen hundreds of episodes cuz the wife watches this religously, and it seems to be on 24/7.

that being said, mariska hartigay (benson) is the highest paid TV actress out. and has been for a while (stabler was getting money too).

I doubt she wants to leave the show altogether and throw away that big ass check. maybe they let her appear every other episode like law and order criminal intent did with detective goren (vincent d'onfrio)

Sofia Vergara has held down the #1 spot for the last few years. ABC paid her 30 mil last year alone. Hartigay may be 2nd or 3rd
