what is the alternative at this point? at this rate if they dont make the playoffs theyre gonna finish around 9-10th in the east with a late lottery pick who becomes decent at best just like all of those picks from kembas last few years and miss out on a star like how they missed out on mitchell/bam/sga/herro(hes not a star but hes better than who was picked before him)

id rather they make moves and try to push for the playoffs, build a winning culture from the jump in lamelo's rookie season and it's only up from there
