It's like he did zero market research before starting this brand.

1. The name is too much. Lasting brands generally have simple names or are recognized be simple names. The only industry that can get away with it are designer/higher end names where it's named after the designer. Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Jordan, Converse, Polo (Ralph Lauren), etc. It also sounds forced.

2. He's pricing himself out of competition too early. He needs to make his clothing more accessible now and up the prices later once he gains some name/talent recognition... unless he's marketing this product as some designer sports apparel. But then he shouldn't be selling fitteds because that wouldn't be the target for high end sports apparel wearers.

3. The design of some of the items, specifically the hat, look like somebody who is out of touch with fashion trends designed them.... like maybe him. He screams old school coli poster who thinks he knows everything about everything. He needs to pull in some upperclassman from UCLA majoring in fashion design and let them take the lead. Then he and his sons can give final approval. That hat was like selling gucci print AF1s in 2010 when the wave was over in 2005. That ship has sailed.

Somehow, I'm absolutely sure he took no feedback from his sons - an actual representation of the market share he's looking to capture - regarding the name and design.

Big Baller Brand really sounds like some GTA V created store where there's a mission to blow up one of their trucks because they are concealing cocaine in tube socks or some shyt.

Yeah I like what he is trying to do but man at least let the nikkas make it to the league first he is making them a target.

Yeah, I personally think he's making it hard for his kids. The media HATES confident black people in general let alone arrogant ones. So they are just going to place all that on his kids, blowing up any mistake they make, and be quiet on anything good.
