I actually thought people were trolling when they were mentioning a son named liangelo. It sounded like a combo of Jeremy Lin and dangelo from the Lakers and thought I was missing on the inside joke.

Manufacturing shoes on a somewhat large scale has to be pretty costly. They'll have to be inexpensive to compete especially considering their designs so far. Tees and hats are easy to do because they're working with generic blanks most likely.

It's also worth noting that the items on there store seem to be a good bit cheaper than what's been reported, though still above what most streetwear companies charge, let alone sportswear companies. The fact that they've priced this the way they have makes it hard to believe it'll have the impact he thinks it will.

Terrible name, timing and so much more.

His son is getting drafted in the league. Announce this shyt on draft night after the selection. Wear gear (maybe sneakers while you put the team cap on). It can make a bigger lifetime splash than this and on national tv, prime time with millions watching.

This can only hurt his stock. Small time thinking for quick cash.

:snoop:

How is it going to hurt his stock? The dad is running the business. LeBron had his own team with Maverick Carter, right? Same thing

That's what a lot of people are missing in all of this, He can't have his kids going to college and promoting that brand or else they would have to forfeit the scholarships or risk committing violations.

Terrible in more ways than one. This guy is just digging the graves that much deeper for his kids.

Few things are worse than an over involved sports dad. I like the idea but let your kid establish himself in the league first.
