Lonzo Ball's dad has a clothing line and he's selling $60 t-shirts
Any of yall interested in copping a $60 cotton tee?
Or a $100 hat...
this dude stay doing the most
Yeah I like what he is trying to do but man at least let the nikkas make it to the league first he is making them a target.I commend him because Coli is always talking about having our own, and here is a guy using his circumstances to do so. Everyone is like not like that. The design and prices are fukking ridiculous though. No one is even wearing flat brim hats like that right now, and you are charging a hundred for one?
Their mom played basketball in college, apparently that's why their father picked her
Lavar is coming off a little weird.
The idea is not a bad look, the clothes just sucks. Steph Curry got some of tge ugliest shoes in history, it the end of the world. Him always talking shyt might be an issue and is annoying, but starting a clothing aint got shyt to do with nothing. He is going about it completely the wrong way.
He has the right idea trying to keep it all in, but terrible execution and can hurt his sons as they get into the league. All this BS is apparently causing teams to be scared of drafting his son because of their dad.
The name is corny as shyt. But I understand what their dad is trying to accomplish . These big shoe companies eat millions of these kids . Why can't he or they get a piece of the pie?
He's teaching his sons a valuable lesson IMO. Never be afraid to bet it all on yourself!
It's like he did zero market research before starting this brand.
1. The name is too much. Lasting brands generally have simple names or are recognized be simple names. The only industry that can get away with it are designer/higher end names where it's named after the designer. Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Jordan, Converse, Polo (Ralph Lauren), etc. It also sounds forced.
2. He's pricing himself out of competition too early. He needs to make his clothing more accessible now and up the prices later once he gains some name/talent recognition... unless he's marketing this product as some designer sports apparel. But then he shouldn't be selling fitteds because that wouldn't be the target for high end sports apparel wearers.
3. The design of some of the items, specifically the hat, look like somebody who is out of touch with fashion trends designed them.... like maybe him. He screams old school coli poster who thinks he knows everything about everything. He needs to pull in some upperclassman from UCLA majoring in fashion design and let them take the lead. Then he and his sons can give final approval. That hat was like selling gucci print AF1s in 2010 when the wave was over in 2005. That ship has sailed.
