Last day in Dominican Republic. A few observations

Add Jamaicans and AAs onto the list too. Haitians get shytted by them too in Miami/central Florida. They were called roaches and were crucified in school by all that roasting they had to endured on the way how they dress , not getting any line ups , being poor and how they do voodoo and shyt etc etc...

This sounds like stuff from the 1990s.

I’m 28 and don’t see this stuff at all. Only thing ill say is that till this day other black groups still wouldn’t let a Haitian breh cut their hair.

Never experienced this personally cause I guess for 1.) i was raised in a white area where whites thought all blacks were African (even AAs), and 2.) My mom raised me so American and dressed me properly that people use to think I was an AA nerd geek (younger years) and later on just AA because they didn’t think I was Haitian (older).

Plus I was never on some “I only rock with my people type shyt”.

I seen the same shyt happen in NY as a kid. shytting on Haitians like we grew up any better. It had nothing to do with Dominicans getting at them. Everybody was. It was kinda like calling someone a fakkit. They're not really gay. You just trying to shyt on them. You call them a Haitian. Even worse, if they really are Haitian. Luckily I got older and wiser.
There's a Haitian family on my block that always adopting Haitian kids. Growing up with them I became cool with a lot of them dudes. They're some of the coolest people I know. I got mad love for them. So even tho I do I hear people talk shyt about them, I shut that shyt down and educate them on what I know

Haitians shouldn’t be open to living in Haiti’s after retirement because there is a lot of land and I know Haitians who have built mansions there.

Haiti has lots of mountains so why build a house in sinking Florida when you can live on Nice land with lots of views.

I want to retire to the Caribbean. If English became widespread like I want it to in Haiti I’ll move.

Since I’m American them Dominicans in DR will show me respect like they are to Haitian Jack right now.

Btw the Haitians who have fun in DR are business owners because my moms side of my family who are mulattos own businesses in the DR.

Perhaps that’s why my mom is blind to how Haitians are treated in the DR.

Same goes for Dominicans. In NYC I tend to see the two get a long and I will admit Dominicans in NYC weren’t on that c00n stuff dissing Haitians as much probably because they didn’t live deep with eachother and probably because Dominicans had to worry with competition against Puerto Rican anyway.

Is the Dominican population in DR more or less black than that of New York?

Doesn’t seem like that in videos but it would assume it’s the same thing. It’s not as if DR is like panama and Guatemala where blacks exclusively live in one part.

But even like Haiti the higher class tends to be more white than the bottom.

In Haiti only that small Polish group are super light skin and poor.

Haitian food is def unique while DR and PR food have much more similarities.

I notice that the groups who look down on Haitians the most are islander Hispanics(Dominicans and Ricans mainly) and Bahamians(see how they are treated in Bahamas + FL). This then spreads to other islands and then the USA.
