Thank God, I mean it was gonna happen eventually once we finally decided to restart from the ground up instead of forcing quick solutions.

shyt if that means no overpaying no C+ to B- tier players this summer if we don't get the cream of the crop I'm with it. If we strike out, let the kids develop and sign a few decent role players and still have bread on the table.

At least Pills realizes Frank's still young as hell with room to grow :myknickanikka:

Talk that shyt Fiz

Lord knows if we ever in contention again the amount of salt nikkas gon have :wow:

Not to mention the amount of shyt we gon be talking :Litknicka:

Is what I really can't wait for :blessed:

90% of the picks after 6 are seriously hard for me to place. It's a lot of players that have high upside but major flaws or players with lower ceilings. Usually I feel more confidence about my picks in the mid-late lottery but this one feels more like a crap shoot. You could hit big if a Doumbouya, Bol Bol or a Porter Jr. lands but I really don't know. I usually try not to overvalue draft workout reports, but I'll be all over that info this time around.

Frank’s contribution? :mjlol:
On a non-serious note, I think my joke went over your head, breh. He made a Stevie Wonder reference, now re-read my reply.

On a serious note, I still believe, with SERIOUS offensive threats in a lineup, Frank is a POSITIVE on the defensive side of the floor and I believe he would excel in that type of a system. He was really solid in games with KP. This year, though, he, as well as all of our youth, were playing in a system that amounted to "just keep isoing and passing recklessly until someone has to take the shot before the shot clock hits zero."

He really just needs to work on that standing 3 point shot and he's worth salvaging.

They really talking like this is a done deal, they better hope FA don’t bite them in the ass:ufdup:
I don't think we, as Knicks fans would be that devestated; but the whole basketball community would essentially make this the biggest L in Knicks history.

It'll be unbearable. Half of the threads would be "Knicks brehs need to commit that."

Cowherd, Isola, Simmons, SAS and everyone else looking to clout chase will have 10 minute long rants about how humiliated we look.

Kyrie and Kawhi ballin out in the east. That's easy money and if Knox shows improvement at SF, Kornet becomes a good wing/PF and Mitch dominates on blocks, we might have a little squad.
I know, breh.

I am laying the hesitation on thick when it comes to Kyrie. I'm going to be happy if he signs. I know it'll elevate this team to a place we've probably never seen.

I just hate that nikka's attitude on off court demeanor. I'll live with it, though.

Yea, that’s what I mean. Ain’t no coming back from that type of embarrassment. You need to humble and silent on some Buddhist ish after that type of L. I’m already prepared to not get the first pick and FA being a wash.

Breh...I'm worried that the shyt might be ugly enough to take that Zema style hiatus from Coli Knicks shyt.

I'm already on the Coli too much, the last thing I need is to feel obligated to fight every thread battle defending this fukking team.

:whoa::whoa:I know I'm on the verge of getting negged for constantly bringing this up but, it's just so fascinating to me...

With the strong work ethic, seemingly great work environment and the ability to CHANGE NY by potentially being the player to truly lap the Knicks by going to Brooklyn and making them a real competitor, I don't see why the Brooklyn Nets wouldn't be the most tempting Eastern conference organization for him. :ld:

From a business standpoint?

Brooklyn has the edge that old money Manhattan doesn't. And even if it is dry in Brooklyn, Manhattan IS right there.

The very neutral colors of the Nets are WAY more forgiving than our blue and orange. I have the biggest pride in my team and my logos but, fashion wise, shyt is 'Sgust unless you're going for a vintage 90s windbreaker and high top air forces look.

From a media standpoint?

He'd instantly become the top story - feel good story, mind you - and considering how thirsty the media is to shyt on the Knicks, he'd be used as ammunition against the Knicks more times than the media criticizing him.

Even with Durant, going to Brooklyn wouldn't be seen as a "WELL, HE'S IN NY, HE'D BETTER MAKE IT WORTH THE MONEY!" type of thing. It would be like playing with house money, still.

From a team/organization standpoint?

:francis: Royal and Trier are good spokesmen, I guess. And he'd probably feel comfortable with his brehs around but, the Nets seem to have NO DRAMA, NO NONSENSE and NO DIVA shyt. They are just playing ball and overachieving because they "WANT IT".

EVEN THOUGH THIS YEAR THE NETS OWN THEIR PICK, they still didn't take the foot off the gas and tank. Philly, Toronto, Wizards(at the time), Bucks, Celtics and Pacers(at the time) all were very dream crushing answers to the possibility of the Nets thinking they can take advantage of a weak East - don't tell me y'all really thought Nets management thought they'd be able to win something.

No one figured this group would be so solid - that means ALOT of people in the organization from support staff to players to coaches to FO are doing something RIGHT.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Knicks brehs need to really think of a PLAN B. Only way I see Durant coming here is, if in some way, Durant's team has truly already agreed to an under the table deal and his honor wouldn't let him reneg on that.

Otherwise, if he truly is undecided...spooky.
I felt this way since the KP trade. The fact he was coming back, plus potentially Zion and cap space kind of evened out the fact that the Knicks sucked this year. I didn't think Dennis Smith plus two picks that won't happen for another two and four years would cut it as a replacement. Still don't think Knicks post trade are as attractive as they were pre... Especially compared to Brooklyn. But, Mitchell Robinson, Kevin Knox, and Dennis Smith have definitely softened the impact of the trade to a large degree
