Serious question:

With the current skill level of Zion WIlliamson, in a vacuum, is it possible the NBA teams can use the Ben Simmons defense against him? :patrice:

I'm not able to find consistent opinions on the ceiling of his shooting ability nor consistent opinion on his current shooting ability.

Is he a better shooter than Ben Simmons? Worse?

I doubt it @ the bolded. Zion isnt afraid to shoot 3s, that in itself means teams will have to somewhat honor that space.

Even at LSU, Simmons was treating the 3 point line like a busted chick you bagged on a drunk night and saw with sober eyes the next day

Your odds aren’t gonna change much from here on out. Let em win one for their sanity. Losing that much fukks with you as a man if you’re a player. I’m not saying don’t aim for a top pick, but sprinkle in a win every now and then. Make the development feel kinda purposeful.

Who’s actively rooting for losses? We just don’t mind them. I root for wins every night but when they’re losses, the prospect of a top pick let’s me shrug this whole season off.

Also, isn't there a chance that Brooklyn has cap space for two maxes?

Why the fukk would KD/Kyrie come here instead of Brooklyn??

If KD told the Nets to make sure there is space... They'd be able to do whatever it takes... And they are better than us!

Nets are in the same position we were a month ago and have a horrible contract in Allab Crabbe that they’ve tried to get rid of, even offering first rounders to do it and no one budged. Like the case with us, a team is going to force them to trade the farm to get rid of the contract.

Some championship core and really good squads sprinkled in there....
I was in Boston when the Celtics were tanking and lost 18 in a row, Red Auerbach had died, Paul Pierce was hurt and there was just the hope that they’d get Oden or KD. I remember Leon Powe was a rookie then and he was miserable. He was like “the food doesn’t taste as good. You don’t wanna be seen in public, etc.” They had vets but also a young Rondo, Telfair, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Perkins, Delonte West.

Now the following year they got KG and Ray Allen but that’s not normal and that’s kinda what y’all are hoping happens.

Knicks were trying to make that same move but that bytchass Porzingis couldn't wait

Yep, but knowing how little brother'ish they are I expect them to throw the bag at KP

Google who said this quote:

“Man, sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself.” ... “you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself.”

Great quote...
shyt is so real

and so appropriate for Frank, Knox & DSJ.

They really need this opportunity to get comfortable playing in a way that feels completely natural.

Your mentality needs to be able to dance with your physical ability & for most of the journey, that dance is clumsy.

But when that chemistry comes together...and that muscle memory is solidified...and high pressure situations require less mental energy...:banderas:
