Get this levelheaded nonsense out of here, we only deal with extremes playboy:stopitslime:
Theres other Knicks players i could give you my opinion on alot more easily but its like nikkas were saying Franks still a baby. What exactly does the anti-Frank coalition want the Knicks to do, trade him? It makes no sense. Nikkas in here are basically rooting against him :francis:

If Frank were as polished offensively as he is defensively the whole coli would be on his dikk. There was arguably no better rookie defensively from season start to season end than Frank Ntilikina... But after one season we shouldn't have reached him at 8 :beli:

How bout shut the fukk up, wait, and see

yall need to stop bringing up franks defense
you are aruging with yourself:mjlol:
you use his defense to deflect from him being scared and hesistant on the offensive end

he was drafted to be our point guard of the future. we didnt draft him to be a defender, we drafted him to run our offense. if hes not doing that, its okay to comment on that. stop talkin about his age, theres players in the d league more agressive than him. kevin knox is already more aggressive den him and hes 18.

he had a whole offseason and is still doin the same shyt against low level compeition. its fair to criticize.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Man y’all be hating on Frank so much:gucci:

I’m no super fan of his or anything but dude is super young and is clearly a project

The fact that he’s so good defensively already makes him a good pick

Let him get another season to show what he’s got :beli:

Trae Young should have been food for him.

That dude will likely be a bottom three guard defender.

These are all fair critiques.....however:

In regards to his defense, that's what makes him such an intriguing prospect. The ability to become a 2-way player from the PG position. Defense is typically the toughest part of the game for young players to learn and he already has that down pat. His offensive game needs development, the supporters of Frank believe that part of his game will come around. I believe that part of his game will come around. There have been plenty of players who came into the league as defensive-minded players that were limited offensively, eventually they developed on that end of the floor.

All of our young guys need development, obviously, so why not give Fiz and his staff a chance to develop him? As well as the other young dudes on the roster. We all know Horndawg wasnt developin shyt and that hindered the growth & development of all our young pieces, especially Frank

And while you may dislike it, age is relevant to bring up when discussing Frank. Im not abt to write off a 19yr old 2nd year player and determine he has a low ceiling that has already been reached based off one disappointing SL game. Or one subpar (offensively at least) rookie campaign. He's a young project! Projects take time. Usually around 3-5 years, with the earliest that they start showing signs that they've panned out after year 3. Frank hasnt begun year 2 yet, and this is the first year he'll be dealing with a coaching staff that actually gives a shyt abt player development. If at the end of year 3 Frank still looks the same as he did in his first season, than yeah, at that point Id start to worry and lose faith in him. I aint there yet

I, as well as the others in here who think Frank will be good, may end up wrong. But Im at least willing to be patient enough to find out, and give Fizzy and his staff a chance to prove their player development chops. I just cant understand the rush to pass final judgement on a player so young. Most players take years to reach their potential, especially point guards, yet some of you are wiling to write off somebody after 1 season of play and a SL game :dead:

I just dont get it

edit:

Patience is a virtue my Knickas!

It’s not just him being hesitant he’s shown no signs of being a primary ball handler either.

If he’s a sg not a pg his value is way lower

It’s way too early to make absolutes on his career I just hope my fears of him just being a defensive specialist and rotation player will look foolish in a few years
