the mayor of Las Vegas can’t be a “puppet” because that position has no ultimate power to do anything. What can you influence if you have no actual influence? She’s on the sidelines and calls as many shots right now as I do. There’s no strings to be pulled. Her word carries zero weight

Their biggest mistake was downplaying the situation from the beginning and telling people that masks weren’t necessary. That made people think this shyt was a joke and had people walking around like all was well while spreading the virus. They could have shut things down while also telling people to wear masks.

I blame the CDC and the guy in charge over Air for that one as he insisted on Twitter from the beginning that masks weren’t necessary.

Belive it or not Vegas is double the visits of Miami. Miami has 23 million a year, Vegas 48 million. Florida definitely hurt but Vegas IS bleeding

Florida is has a strong low service economy though, Florida is also an extremely popular destination due to weather and women. Florida will survive because people wanna fit in and get what they consider that Good Life, Vegas isn't in the same situation, Tourism is everything, they need big money spenders and the image of success to flourish or they're done.

Times like these those folks quiet thought, for once in a long time their status doesn't matter since everything is shut down. Can't name call people like you could before and call them bums or broke nikkas, I went to best buy and they don't let anyone in the building, everything is order online and pick up in the car.

An invisible enemy is the worst thing to happen to a system built of greed and the influx of ideas to get people to get comfortable to spend money. For once you don't need a 8.00 burrito when you can get one at home just make your own.

I wanna see how many companies go under after realizing it's not really essential it's just to make people more comfortable. I'm hoping them racist cacs go under once this is over.

It's like do you really need to pay 5k a month for a IDS/IPS or just use the built in Microsoft Security Suite in times like this? This is a blessing in disguise for people.

I lucked out and found a legit seller on Ebay in the US who came through with 50 masks for $50. Every else I have literally had to catch it in store or online at the right time.

They really fukked over a lot of people by downplaying it as now they can’t even get the basic supplies and necessities to even protect against it. The only wipes and hand sanitizer I have seen in stores the past 2 months is the ones that is owned by the establishment for their employees.
