Yes, I know Purdy is not a runner, I watched him for 3-4 years at Iowa St, every week.

My point is Purdy saw running lanes and took off when advantageous. Watching Lamar, the lanes were there for him to pickvup, at the least several yrds, but he purposely stood there trying to make things happen with his arm. No reason for so many 3 and outs like that when plays were there
Imma need the all 22 to see the running lanes Lamar Jackson didn’t take advantage of. I know most of us don’t know and are purely guessing.

But then again, you also believe the media got Lamar Jackson’s head. :russ:
They ran the ball like 15 times the entire game.
Whose fault is that?

The same excuse that posters are trying to use now they didn't want to hear last week when it came to Josh Allen and the Bills.

Like Rex Ryan said on Get Up a few minutes ago, it's a lot of people that owe Greg Roman an apology.
no they don’t :dead:

You would owe Greg Roman an apology if you think the Ravens would have gone further than being the number one seed and hosting the AFC title game.

Coli sports discourse is so stupid now.

One of the biggest criticisms towards him as that they became too run happy at times, which is the exact same thing that people are saying that they didn't do so yes they do owe him an apology for that aspect. They abandoned the run instead of doing what helped them get to where they were this season.

Multiple things can be true at the same time.

nope, this isn’t it.

Do you think Greg Roman’s offense would have made them better this season and gotten them farther? That’s why you would owe him an apology. You and Rex Ryan Are showing your biases.

There's no bias to be had. Everyone on that offense including the coaches deserve blame for what transpired especially considering that the defense did their part in the 2nd half.

Are we no longer capable of understanding basic football or context? Yea Lamar wasn't good but the bigger issue was Zay Flowers imploding
Stop it Zay was good, we not doing this bs. He had one fumbled ball in the endzone, where as lamar had multiple turnovers and multiple questionable 3 and outs. Blaming zay when Ravens defense put lamar in position to score multiple times and he couldn't hit open wrs is silly. Zay played well. This one on lamar and the oc

be honest here.

Ryan had Greg Roman on his staff and brought up his name unprompted.

You are not a Lamar Jackson fan. You may have changed your tune this season when his play was undeniable, but your bias is shining now.
He didn’t come through when it mattered most, so he deserves the same criticism as Allen got last week.

The fact that posters in here are making excuses and not keeping the same consistency is showing the bias that other posters are well aware of.

If you want to say that I’m being biased, then what does that make them?

Lamar has the same problem Prime Russell Westbrook had in the playoffs. He still doesn't know when and when not to take over in the playoffs. He panicked after that Zay Flowers fumble.

My posts aren’t defending Jackson. He didn’t play well in the game. However, The Ravens offensive coordinator deserves more heat for only having 10 running playcalls. That doesn’t mean Greg Roman should return or is owed an apology.

But bigger than that, and the irony considering this thread title, is this thread and the takes are :skip:-brained.

I was confused when Lamar didn't get that 3rd and 1 on his own (though they converted anyway), but my heart hurt when he threw that INT into triple coverage in the endzone. It was very Josh Allen-esque.

Thought Lamar passed that phase of his career by now. :sadbron:
