You think he’ll throw 6TDs in the final game?
It depends if the division is won and if Harbaugh will rest Lamar.

Id like Lamar to keep the momentum up but if its halftime blow out...rest him.

He may not throw 6 TDs...but he doesn't need to, to win the APOPMVP. I was saying he needs those TDs so he won't get robbed.

He's a Superbowl away from many things. He's the second best QB in Ravens history if he retired today behind Flacco (3 AFC title games, Superbowl mvp, most road playoff wins NFL history, Multiple elite playoff runs where he was dueling/matching Brady)...but Lamar probably a HOFer if he retired today.

Lamar is not better than Randall Cunningham at all. Cunningham can do what Mahomes does, but was faster than Mahomes in his prime. Cunningham was an elite passer, he could nickel and dime you up the field if need be unlike anything Lamar has done.
Lamar is the GOAT BLACK QB EVER...

You gotta be trolling lmao

Yo, Tucker missed 2 kicks vs the Steelers in a game where the Ravens turned the ball over 3 times and the first thing on all the media shows was how Lamar played himself out of the MVP race.

These other guys aren't getting that heat. Josh Allen put up bad efforts against the Ravens, Texans and Pats last week but the discourse isn't the same.

Of course Lamar ain't getting the pass
Lamar is a unambiguously black man.

A black QB.
A dark skin black QB.
A black QB from a franchise in Baltimore MD.

It's always funny when people talk about expectations. The amount of pressure and expectations that are put on Lamar is crazy. Lamar's biggest issue is making the extraordinary look easy.

It's clear the media is helping big up Josh Allen cause he needs it, cause he is not the clear cut APOPMVP. Not even close.

But I tell you what...get them to play head up in the playoffs and watch who ever wins that game get it.

Buffalo not beating Baltimore in the OFFS

Everyone in Owning Mills/Baltimore knows whats up
They hear the disrespect
Players from other teams know what's up too (....y'all remember that player's poll released in October how they voted Allan as the most overrated)

Just as black folks we inherently know wtf is up

Even after winning a SB, SB MVP, and MVP Mahomes was still disrespected by the national media.

We'll see how the next two weeks go, but it will be close. I think the first thing that needs to be established is that it's hard to compare MVP races season to season as there's not a perfect comparison. The second thing that needs to be established is that Lamar Jackson is having a better year this season than last year where he won MVP.

-Lamar has definitely had the better statistical season compared to Josh Allen. That's not even debatable.

-Last year, Lamar didn't win it because of his statistics as the main driving factor. It really came down to where the Ravens finished at the end of the season. People were saying Lamar didn't have any real weapons (I was one of those) and that someone like Purdy and Dak had much better offensive weapons. We can't rewrite history and say that wasn't the main narrative last year. People were saying Lamar should be ahead of Purdy and Dak (before injury) because his offensive supporting cast was worse.

-I think a big difference with the Lamar v.s. Purdy comparison and the Lamar v.s. Allen comparison is that Lamar won the head to head match-up both years, being the lesser statistical QB last year to his counterpart and the superior one this year. If there is something other than Lamar just having insane numbers that will hurt Allen, it will be that match-up, although it was Henry that went off that week.

-There were definitely people that thought Derrick Henry was "washed" or semi-washed, but I think most analysts were more on the train of saying that Henry wouldn't be a big enough upgrade, and not that he was washed. I completely disagreed with that from the beginning. There is no doubt Henry has had a massive impact on Lamar this year. It shouldn't "take away" from what Lamar has done, but that will certainly come into play when talking about "value".

-It's clear that Josh Allen is playing with less talent on the offensive side of the ball and a lot of people had the Bills taking a major step back this season, with many picking them to finish third in the AFC East.

-I really hope it doesn't come down to this, but I can see voter fatigue and voters wanting to give it to a first time potential winner. Almost like what happened to Jokic. I can see people thinking about Lamar in the playoffs and letting that impact their vote even though that is not supposed to have any merit when voting for regular season MVP.

We'll see what happens, but I can see arguments both ways.

In what alternate universe is Lamar Jackson not better than Randall Cunningham? And, that's not an insult to Cunningham as he was an excellent QB in his prime.

I agree, but for quality wins, I will say it evens out. Lamar plays in a tougher division, but he has losses against two bottom teams. Josh plays in the weakest division, but he does have wins over the two #1 teams in each conference. Lamar has won the head to head against Josh though.

And that right there is why the hypocrisy and revisionist history is rather disingenuous.

For years you had cats on here like @Blessings and others using Jackson’s lack of supporting cast to help prop him up, but Allen is in that same exact situation and now it’s juelzing and cracka this and cracka that when it gets called out :mjlol:

He did exactly what people said he couldn’t do in still getting in done with Diggs while thinking he couldn’t do shyt without him and people still don’t want to give him credit.
