We have people with those features like that in Nigeria ADOS aren’t the only people with light skin and redbones and yellow bonesI'm wondering about people like: Beyonce, Keith Powers, Jada Pinkett Smith<<<Would these people (and by "these people," I mean black people who are lighter in complexion and have more "refined" features) even register as black in Nigeria? Are biracial people thought of as black in Nigeria? The one drop rule never existed there, so I'm assuming someone like Drake, or Zendaya, would be considered non-black in Nigeria.
Biracial people in Nigeria go by their ethnic group (Yoruba, Igbo, etc) just like any other Nigerian. We don't have a category for black.I'm wondering about people like: Beyonce, Keith Powers, Jada Pinkett Smith<<<Would these people (and by "these people," I mean black people who are lighter in complexion and have more "refined" features) even register as black in Nigeria? Not sure I’m following Haitians retain the most African DNA out the slave descendants brought to the New World. Some of those black Latino groups are also pretty high in African DNA retention especially Garifunas and Afro-Colombians. I’m guessing Yorubas are lighter? But that wouldn’t fit most Haitians.Facts. Igbos blend in more than Yorubas with ADOS and Jamaicans but Yorubas look like Haitians/black Latinos
