still, you would think the country with the biggest economy will have one city that could match it's middle income status.

plus, what I'm referring to doesn't even have to do with cleanliness or tidiness. I'm talking about how to build a city properly starting from determining city zone. from my observation, Abidjan and Dakar original city planners seem to have a better grid plan on how to build there city in terms of structure compared to Accra and Lagos. you don't need a high gdp for that, just common sense.

The original Lagos still has its structure because it was planned and much smaller. The so called Lagos of today is main sprawl in all directions due to overpopulation. If 5 million people rushed to the outskirts of Dakar, the proper Dakar would still have its grid but the larger "Dakar" would be just as chaotic.

Abuja is a planned city that is still very green in nature. If you are looking for a concrete jungle with skyscrapers kissing one another to satisfy your idea of a city, you just have to look elsewhere.

Most Africans, even West Africans dressed like Americans "look" African. Ghana and Nigerian folks can be exceptions but that's only because so many ADOS have ancestors from that region.

Feel like head shape, eyes and cheekbones give it away usually. Lotta Igbos can blend in easily though.

Random Euro genes can throw off the ADOS look, regardless of skin color. Like Zeke Elliot and Dave Chappelle are reasonably dark but both have white grandparents (25% white). Don Cheadle is like 20% white but I think he could blend in over there better than the average ADOS.

Dakar's metro population is at 4 million currently. That's why they are building a new capital city 20 minutes from Dakar. There was barely 300,000 people in the Dakar region in the 70's. But when people were rushing there since then, they still maintained their city grid as it expanded into a metro. overpopulation is no excuse for not having proper zones.

Senegal and Ivory Coast are just as developed as Ghana. Nigeria is richer than those countries because of oil. which only benefits the elites there. But the average Nigerian isn't living as well off as people from those 3 countries. maybe igbos and yurubas.

I think anybody here could walk the streets of Lagos and not stand out. If you live in a large metro area in America, you walk/drive past African born and Caribbean born people everyday, without "noticing"
. The phenotype range of AAs is wide.

In a city the size of Lagos, the phenotype range is wide as well. Different ethnic groups of Nigerians,,children from the union of members of 2 or more ethnicities from Nigeria, children from biracial parents, people from bordering countries but same ethnic group as major ones in Nigeria.

A small rural part of America or Nigeria.......maybe an outsider would stand out, but not in a cosmopolitan center of either country.

Lot of those cities were designed during colonial times pre independence hence before the population boom and the rural to urban movement of ppl in many countries on the continent.

One more thing GDP and GDP per capita are two different things. The latter is a more accurate measure of country wealth. If population growth outpaces GDP growth, then the country is getting less wealthy.

Nigerians be cappin like s*** when they try to front like things are all gravy. Between the large amount of people trying to smuggle with a caravan so they can gtfo, how the North is regarded almost like it's not part of the sovereignty, and how it's almost a national pastime to s*** on the govt corruption seems to me things ain't poppin. If you got bread however I always hear it can be a paradise to the wealthy.​

Facts. Igbos blend in more than Yorubas with ADOS and Jamaicans but Yorubas look like Haitians/black Latinos
