First off, accent/language Thanks to the British :francis: most Nigerians know English but certain parts of the country have their own language.

second, traditions. On Christmas, are you telling me you wouldn’t be geeked out or ask someone questions about this:

that’s the Ekpe Masquerade. Saw one at a Nigerian Convention they had here in Atlanta. They’re harmless and nobody is suppose to know who’s inside.

Now Ekpo :francis:

My mom told me only men were allowed to see them & would chase women down.

TLDR/My Point: there’s too much culture and tradition for you to keep it cool.

Skin care products are different over there off rip they’ll know due how is skin is gleaming, also they probably won’t be able to identify him to any of the ethnic groups that’s number 2

nah they know

anywhere I went people right away knew I wasn't from there

Lagos is a mess man. you would think that having one of the highest gdp cities in Africa(top 3), it would actually look like a 1st world city and match it's gdp, but nope, it's just a more populated Accra. Nigerian and Ghanaian major cities are not greatly structure besides Abuja, unlike the francophone african cities. Just compare Abidjan and Dakar city grids compared to the other two.

The kirk to the fields

They got like a sixth sense when it comes to that shyt. You could be a breh from another African country and they'll know.

We have the same power over here. I could tell when someone is not ADOS with maybe 70% accuracy (it's tough in NY). And I could absolutely tell when someone is not from NYC.

That's very simplistic take. By your logic, Mexico should look like a "first world" country better than Belgium, simply because of GDP.

Also, Dakar has only a million people, what it's excuse for not looking tidy?

still, you would think the country with the biggest economy will have one city that could match it's middle income status.

plus, what I'm referring to doesn't even have to do with cleanliness or tidiness. I'm talking about how to build a city properly starting from determining city zone. from my observation, Abidjan and Dakar original city planners seem to have a better grid plan on how to build there city in terms of structure compared to Accra and Lagos. you don't need a high gdp for that, just common sense.

aren’t the French African cities/countries even poorer and run down or am I mistaken?
