I can make both of their plates at the same time. That's actually how I fix plates. lol Takes a little longer but everyone eats at the same time. If not, I let them get their plates then I do.

Husband/SO. I love my daughter, but hubby putting at least half on the food I'm serving, she eating for free. If there was only enough to feed my husband or my daughter, then my daughter would eat for sure.

I would venture to say (just guessing) people would serve kids first when food is short to make sure they get enough first. If that's not that case, then I would say husband.
