A bunch of spots off Centinela between La Brea and La Cienega. I love Comfort LA. Their sauce :wow:

If you looking for burgers/sandwiches, definitely checkout Top Round.

Papa Cristo's if you want Mediterranean. 100% get your money's worth.

Little Ethiopia also got some great food places.

Another place I like is The Boiling Crab, but that may be a little more than you're willing to spend for that kind of food. Taste-wise they're great, price-wise not-so-much but they do that style really well.

Been a minute since I've been, but when we were in-office we always used to get lunch at the Fox Hills Mall. Easy to get to and can't really miss it.

Edit: I haven't scoped it out since the pandemic, but if you have time over the weekdays, there are some really good food trucks around lunchtime that post up next to the Tiktok building.

SoFi also has some real good food and they chill af so you can pretty much stand around on any level if you get a table overlooking the game. Went to a few Rams games last year and one of the games we got seats at the top but pretty much posted up at the tables on the lower levels (it's first come first serve).

Favorite single restaurant in all of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas is Philly's Best though. I've had Philly Cheesesteaks all over the country and their's is the best. Literally have sat in an hour and a half of traffic to go get food from there and brought back 5 sandwiches for the rest of the week.

You should have asked prior to booking a hotel near LAX. Not much to do or see near LAX.

Anyways good local bars in Inglewood; GS lounge, Manchester Bar and Grill, La Louisiane
I was there last year for the Rams/Bucs game and felt the hotels West of 405 near LaX were nice, secure and a easy trip to and from SoFi

Crenshaw P's Coat Hangers
Black owned spots:
Dulan's
Honey Kettle Fried Chicken
Little Kingston's for Jamaican food
Orleans and York - a small chain of sub sandwiches and po boys (their desserts and spicy potato salad are :ohlawd:)
Malik Books (2 locations in Crenshaw Mall and Fox Hills Mall... Always have good selections of books)
GorillaRX (dispensary owned by Black women)

Other spots:
California Science Center, Griffith Observatory and the Santa Monica Pier are GREAT for dates (but that parking, tho...)
Any taco truck
Leo's tacos on LA Brea and Venice (especially if you like el pastor...)

If you like basketball, Venice Beach usually has something going on during weekend afternoons...
And I think Drew League has their playoffs this/next week..

Not sure what else I can add lol

If you trying to get by the coast Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach are close by. Santa Monica has tons of places right off the 3rd Street Promenade. Water Grill, Elephante, King and Queens is a fun place for some Tacos and Drinks. Manhattan Beach a little closer to Inglewood, the Strand is a nice place there. There's tons of great places, only thing I would say is stay out of DTLA, gone to shyt since the pandemic unfortunately

DTLA was ass pre-Covid. LA has an embarassing downtown for being one of the major cities. Hated working downtown.

Yeah it's never been great, but between Arts District and DTLA there was at least a couple places worth a visit if you had time. But now it's all a mess. Went for a drink there for the first time in a couple years last week and had the :picard:
