According to BTC, IIRC, the reason why she did that is so the Dems can't primary her out. If she and a Dem candidate runs, they'd split the vote and a Republican wins that seat. So she made herself safe by threat of voting nuke.

Unless Dems just endorse her and don't run a (D) candidate which seems like it would be cowardly (and she still might lose to a Republican anyway). Guess there's an off chance that she steals more votes from the Republican candidate but that seems like a stretch.
So what's the best move for the Dems in AZ?
