There's nothing that needs to be excused. His natural style of play is different than that of a pure point guard.

He was asked to carry the offensive load on a sorry ass team for 3 years.

I've watched every single game this dude as ever played as a Cavalier.

The only thing that matters is that he is now in his correct role on the team and because of that he is now more efficient.

He's putting up his career average right now with dramatically less usage and his defensive ratings are at an all time high.

In all honesty. Ky was playing the wrong position. . He is a 2 guard and we all know it.. he does fancy passes.. not best play passes.

John wall is a true point guard..

Using a player in the wrong position will always cause that type of player.

As an off the ball PG.. he is at his optimal.

1.. he can drive the lane 1 on 1
2.. he gets hockey assist that often draws two defenders
3.. he can move freely without the ball.. he a 1 on 1 player... his ppg and fg% will rise the next 3 years.. wade style
