I saw Kyrie play live in the flesh and he's a horrible teammate. He's got the attitude of a quitter who gets despondent when the team starts losing a little. Instead of encouraging his teammates he'll be the one to pout. He needs constant reassurance in order to keep him focused. He's soft and selfish. He plays flashy with too many lapses in focus because he doesn't think about the game apart from what he can do when the ball is in his hands.

I watched Tristan Thomas take on the duty of massaging his ego during the game so he wouldn't check out on the team. Talented guy with a lot to be desired.

In all honesty. Ky was playing the wrong position. . He is a 2 guard and we all know it.. he does fancy passes.. not best play passes.

John wall is a true point guard..

Using a player in the wrong position will always cause that type of player.

As an off the ball PG.. he is at his optimal.

1.. he can drive the lane 1 on 1
2.. he gets hockey assist that often draws two defenders
3.. he can move freely without the ball.. he a 1 on 1 player... his ppg and fg% will rise the next 3 years.. wade style

Cavs are not even close to at their best with him playing off ball (see stats I just posted). Don't really understand why you all keep saying this like its a good thing. He needs to be a true PG or he loses a lot of value on the court because he's such an average defender.

exactly. As long as Bron is there, Kyrie will not be the primary ball handler. He'll be a spot up shooter PG (Chalmers, Cole) or he'll have to be Wade (SG)

Kyrie was given the opportunity to be a true PG and failed. That's why LeBron took over the primary ball handling duties.

your logic makes no sense though. If you have the best ball player in the world on your team with the court vision of magic johnson, you put the ball in his hands more than anyone else. Kyrie is learning to play off the ball and that is his role when lebron is on the floor. When the second unit is in, he is able to run the offense a bit more.

He has been in a small shooting slump but has been insanely efficient for most of the season in that role.

No, its more like lebron is the best player in the world, and has been running the offense for every team he has been on ever. He was never going to be off the ball much, even with Kyrie.

When lebron has 7 or more assists, we are 14-3
