Either way. Now is kyrie turn to prove he can stand on his own two feet. Cause of LeBron he's been to finals and won a chip. Before that his track record carrying teams was terrible. Dame and wall who people rank below him for some reason have proved they can carry teams. He hasn't. So now is his chance. He might end up on a good team where he's not going to be the primary reason for the teams success. Like the bucks or the nuggets. I actually can't think of a situation he'd go to and take the team to the next level like Wall would. I'm a Stan though

What good is range if his efficiency is much lower though? Kyrie shoots the 3 at a much higher clip than Dame. 3 times in Kyrie"s career he's shot at least 40% from 3. 2 of those times Lebron wasn't even on the team. Kyrie shot a better percentage from 3 in his rookie year than Dame did for his entire career.

In General Kyrie is more efficient offensively...finishes better..his contested layup numbers are near the top of the league...Dame is much improved in terms of finishing but he doesn't have as many attempts nor is he as efficient

Dame definitely has Kyrie beat as a playmaker though. And you're right his Durability would be a huge factor in any discussion
His range matters because it has to be respected and it drags defenses out further especially when he calls a high screen and roll and he's 5 feet behind the three point line.

Kyrie's efficiency from three is better because he takes less threes. Dame took nearly 8 threes per game last season to Kyrie's 6. And Dame takes and makes long step back bombs only he and Steph Curry hit.

Kyrie is a lot more reliant on the midrange game and has a better handle, but Dame is no slouch at all there either. Another thing Kyrie can do is he can post up a little. Dame is right there with Kyrie in efficiency and attempts at the rim.

Lol I'm not seeing exactly how "range"would benefit a player if they are not making them.

He doesn't convert them at a high enough clip for it to be regarded as an attribute for him over Kyrie

Dame shot 37% from 3 last year...Kyrie shot 40% from 3 last year. In fact Kyrie has shot the 3 better in every single year but one during their careers.

Kyrie during his rookie year playing with a bunch of castoffs and D league talent shot the 3 ball better that year than Dame ever had for his whole career. Kyrie is the better shooter...in every measurable metric...3ball, midrange and at the rim.

I know we always see Dame shoot it from deep and he makes a fair amount...but 37% to 40% is vast difference when comparing elite players/shooters who play the same position

And Kyrie has stupid range on his jumpshot also.

I gotta go with dame. He makes a good point. Outside of his rookie year he's been above 500 and in the playoffs in the west. Has kyrie ever even been in playoff contention before Lebron?
