Dame is a better playmaker, rebounder, and leader. He's also been better at drawing fouls. Kyrie is better at scoring but some of his efficiency is owed to the presence of LeBron. Dame has led the Blazers to the playoffs in a tougher West (though hes had Aldridge and later CJ)...Kyrie maxed out at 33 wins.

I gotta give it to Dame.

Dame never had to be benched during a 4th quarter along with the other part of the super team Kevin love in a playoff game

While the old man and some spot up shooters closed the game out

That never gets talked about I wonder why :troll:

That was this year BTW:sas1::sas2:
Dame's annual performances against Golden State are just as unsightly in clutch times as some of Kyrie's earlier performances this postseason though

Kyrie is better. He's really unstoppable at times. Like only few NBA players in the league right now are.

Dames a completely different player to me. Only thing similar are their numbers

True. People saying they're the same just based off of numbers. Dame takes more 3's and uses more pick and rolls if I'm remembering correctly, whereas Kyrie is more about the ISO game.

Dame felt a certain type of way when Tom Haberstroh said Kyrie is less Kobe and more Dame. Also, was on ESPN saying he would love an opportunity to be in the Finals every year, and play with LeBron who makes the game easier for everybody.

Who is the better player in y'all opinion and why?

Also thought he said he wouldnt hoe himself put for a chip by building a super team

They are pretty much identical as finishers % wise, and Dame is the better defender. So the answer is flashy dribbles? :jbhmm:

Percentages dont tell the whole story breh.. If they did, then in 2012 we'd say Bron was a better shooter than JJ Redikk... Im not sure where yall are getting Dame is a better defender either....

yes

toss up but dame be banging on cats while kyrie has the layup package

damion>>>kyrie on defense

Just because Dame can dunk on brehs (and its really from time to time) that means they're equal in terms of finishing?

What are you talking about you coming through with the silliest of analogies. Redikk takes threes on higher volume than LeBron and plays in a role where he is constantly running off screens.

Dame and Kyrie have similar attempts at the rim and love to attack the basket off P&R and blowing past defenders in isolation, they also attack with numbers in transition. What part of the story is being missed here?

Dame is a better defender if you look at their Synergy numbers. I had a post on it.

Well to bring another "silly" analogy, lets say we have the same number of attempts with the around the same FG%. But you use your left AND right while I only use my right. Are we both equal finishers? The creativity of Kyrie is what puts him above Dame in that regard..

And I considered the defense between the two as a toss up. The reason I went with Kyrie is because I''ve seen him play good to great defense at the biggest stage (finals last year). I havent seen Dame but if the numbers say otherwise, I'll concede that...
