Kurt Angle: Steve Austin Changed Wrestling

Nope, I've been watching wrestling since the early 90s. I've just never been a fan of the WWE like that but since it's the only thing on now it is what it is. I never said Savage wasn't great I just prefer Kurt Angle.

When Angle's healthy and given time the match is gonna be good no matter who's on the other side of the ring. It's just undisputed fact. Too many times has he taken a decent affair on paper and turned it up a notch.

I've seen all of his type of matches though. The endless reversals..the multiple kick outs of finishers...don't know. Bored with the type.

I side with R=G on this one, Angle's first couple years were not that good. Lesnar's first year, for one, was better. Angle was good as an annoying heel, but he hadn't come into his own a a character and especially as a worker.

He was far from a great worker those first couple years, most of those matches were just punch/kick matches with a lot of interference that are overrated in light of his credentials and how good he ended up getting in 02/03. Those Austin matches ho hold up though, that's why he's giving him credit here.

Why are we discussing Angle in the first place?

Angle made a statement about how Austin changed the business, which has been completely swept under the carpet.

R=G for some odd reason had made this thread about how good Angle was.

I dont think there has even been one post about Austin.

If only Angle made a comment about how Rock changed the business. That would have delighted our good friend here

Kurt Angle was dope as fukk, his 01 face run is underrated as fukk, as an 8 year old I cried when he joined the alliance and fukk william regal for turning on him and making him lose the title

but angle always been dope in the ring
