this was easily the best solo project to come out of the bone camp both commercially and musically and as usual, the label dropped the ball

bizzy definitely was feelin himself back in 97-98, his wild style made him the favorite member of a lot of ppl and the hoes used to love him. i can see why they let him get his solo shyt off first.

it's scary to think what bone could've accomplished if they were with a label that was actually competent...they had success in spite of ruthless records, not because of them.

:dead:@krayzie giving most of the songs on resurrection the :camby: like yall me to rap on this :trash:?

one of the main reasons bone fell off is because their fans and the industry just got tired of the weird shyt that was always going on with them, from bizzy's no shows to cancelled appearances to group albums being made with only 2 or 3 members to projects dropping and nobody knowing because of little promo. the public has a short attention span and if you give them any chance to stray, they will, no matter how dope you are.
i can't stand that fukking album. it sounds nothing like their first 3 releases which i love. those beats reminded me of some kind of wack ass swizz beats shyt. i just felt like those beats didn't fit them at all. ecstasy was by far the stand out.

ruthless sabotaged layzie's album. kinda like how they did bizzy 1st joint.

i liked layzie's 1st album alot. even tho it was sloppy & sounded cheap.

Bizzys first album a personal classic to me,that Layzie album though:patrice:? Krayzies album surprised me becuz of how much I liked it and he was my 3rd favorite in the group at the time probably....Bizzy and Johnny J made a helluva team though:banderas:....I got the idea Ruthless sabatoged Bizzys album cuz he definitely shoulda been bigger than what he was,I remember the hype there was for Bizzy and it wasn't the same for Krayzie yet he did better:ohhh:...Bizzy and Krayzie obviously are the best artist in the group though, and we cant forget the necessity of Uneek.....id say Thug World Order was the ending,i remember Ressurection still getting play, but you kinda knew it was over at Thug World Order time, they was tryna hold the group together but the chemistry just wasn't there....not sure how much was due to no not enuff Uneek and how much was due to group issues:manny:...I do think Uneek is undercredited though.

Like @Leti Cook said Layzie fuked my agenda up,i knew Layzie wasn't perceived as second best but I thought he was gon prove it with the albumand take his rightful place, with the classic name change to go with it:blessed:...but he has always been the leader to me if you followed Bone heavily,he always came off as the most outspoken, and him kindve being the go between with Bizzy and the group, and Bizzys handler helped me see it that way:mjlol:

AEOM>Element Of Surprise>Thug Mentality>LAD=8ball Lost is how I rank double albums

i forgot all about TWO...so many forgettable tracks on there. you could tell bizzy was mailing it in, half of his verses had NOTHING to do with the songs, nikka sounded like he took a couple shots of Hen, smoked a blunt then just mumbled some bullshyt..listen to him on on these tracks:wtf:

Cause I ain't that quiet nikka that I used to be
Look how the haters give a nikka attitude
nikka sick of being humble now I'm like fukk that I gotta get mine
They try to show a nikka love, but fukk that it ain't no love
Cause in the game you get fukked every time

My Bone Thug nikkas come on
If any one of you nikkas got any problems
Thinkin' you tough and you really want to solve 'em
Don't be mumblin speak a little louder

I thought LT Hutton did a good job with the beats but can't remember how many he did. Def above Swizz level

they was SPITTIN on that ressurrection album. and that joint went hard too.

some of those songs were kind if a stretch but that album was appropriate for the year 2000, imo.

SHOW EM & PAPER PAPER.:whew:
