This album was hot from day 1 to me! I remember it getting shytted on upon its release because it sounded so different to what people expected.

When I Die & The War is on were just ridiculous:wow:. The features appearances on these tracks:wow:. We used to argue for time who had the best verses on these two tracks.

That Kneight Riduz was trippy as hell when i first head that track :russ:.

Shoot the club up went something hard in the whip though

yea, "shoot the club up" was my chit. nice jab at 3-6 mafia as well. i always found it amusing how gangsta boo appeared on the album just a few tracks later.

"when i die" is criminally underrated.

yea, i was halfway dissappointed with the album back then. kray went way too far leftfield with it.

I was staying at Vietnamese boys house with my other Vietnamese boy who was a bone fanatic,,he even had faces of death on cassette tape..anyway we were all living there..cuz I got kicked out my moms crib..so the day thug mentality dropped..he's listening to it all day..I go to sleep at around 12am:snooze: On the living couch while he's in the bedroom on the Internet playing "Silent Warrior" off the album..I keep waking up in the middle of the night and he still is playing "silent warrior" on repeat:huh:..then I go back to sleep..I wake up in the morning and "silent warrior" is still playing on repeat..:why: I go in there and he's still on the computer..he tells me he didn't sleep and was on the Internet all night playing "silent warrior" on repeat :mindblown:

I swear for weeks that gun shot silencer intro was in my head cuz I heard it so many times that night:heh:

this was easily the best solo project to come out of the bone camp both commercially and musically and as usual, the label dropped the ball

bizzy definitely was feelin himself back in 97-98, his wild style made him the favorite member of a lot of ppl and the hoes used to love him. i can see why they let him get his solo shyt off first.

it's scary to think what bone could've accomplished if they were with a label that was actually competent...they had success in spite of ruthless records, not because of them.

:dead:@krayzie giving most of the songs on resurrection the :camby: like yall me to rap on this :trash:?

one of the main reasons bone fell off is because their fans and the industry just got tired of the weird shyt that was always going on with them, from bizzy's no shows to cancelled appearances to group albums being made with only 2 or 3 members to projects dropping and nobody knowing because of little promo. the public has a short attention span and if you give them any chance to stray, they will, no matter how dope you are.

heated heavy, Murda mo, silence, power, dummy man, drama, thug mentality, I still believe >>>>>>>>

I was late to this, though. Probably didn't finally listen to this until like late 2000. I was always shocked by all the features he had on there.

"Just like I figured when they twisted it
The ak47 was hot, I had to drop it when I emptied it
The mac-11 begin
Hit the nikkas up from head to toe"

I always loved that part.

aww shucky-ducky

SILENCE is my chit. another joint that sounds better today than it did back then. hell, graveyard shift as a whole fits that description. i think this was really supposed to be on their album.

i always rocked with kray's verse even back then. but now the whole song stays on repeat when i play this album.

SO I PAUSE MY NINTENDO, AND I WALK OVER TO THE WINDOW/
IS IT PARANOIA FROM THE INDO?

the way he said that line always had me like :deadrose:

Thank you for this Thread. I LOVED this album. So many bangers top to bottom. Was it a little long? Yes but the features, beats and his flows were crazy. This still remains the highest selling Bone Thugs solo album. Of course as people have posted, "The War Is On" is such an amazing callbo with that jazzy beat and the flute. Snoop and Daz spin good verse. When I Die featuring basically Terror squad with Pun, Joe and Link was dope too. As well as album cuts like "Paper" and "Street People" which samples the classic film "Breaking".

He completes the "Mo Murder" trilogy with "Murda Mo" as the art of noise sample is used again and he completely rips it to shreds. Part 1 was "Mo Murda" than part 2 was "Mo Murder". As people say, "Shoot the Club" up really bumps especially as the intro comes on. His bone brothers aren't featured heavily but on "Thugs Always" everyone puts in a dope verse. I'm not the biggest fan of E-40 but I did like him on the callabo he did on this album with Gangsta Boo and Krazyie with the soap opera sample. Mariah Carey makes an appearance on the commercial track remix to "I Still Believe" The album closes with the Marley family featured track "Revolution". It's a solid 4 MIC LP. The filler and weaker tracks don't really bring the album down. In closing I end it with the smoothest track on the album:
