If people mess with your games....but if your games fall off then what? MS has not been the pillar of creating new IPs either. They need console gamers whether they like it or not. PC Gamers do not fukk with MS like that.

And you can celebrate GP all you want, but it's great primarily for MS and their first party studios, not 3rd parties.

And once Xbox hardware folds, not if, many of those users will get Playstations. Some will goto PC, but not most because they don't got it like that. They can pump fake online, but numbers don't lie. They are going to get another console, not pay for a gaming PC.

Microsoft games sell successfully on PC especially Steam and their Xbox Subscription for Gamepass on Pc has been growing. I don’t know where you get PC don’t fukk with Microsoft games from. Weird comment.

PC gaming is outselling console gaming bro. The past two generations has seen a shift from console to PC like never before.

You aren't gonna convince me having the only viable piece of hardware that 3rd parties will develop for can be downplayed. The share of 3rd parties being played on PS next gen is going to be massive.

Microsoft is FINALLY seeing their 1st parties drop after the race has been run, and they're showing up on the competitions hardware.

Yes PS has had to do some course correction after the live service shyt nobody asked for, but their studios still put out games people want. That plus the impending 3rd party stranglehold will keep them profitable
Sony is putting their games on switch and PC. Even they’ve conceded the playstation console market is not enough.

Why are some of you so against that reality?

Game Pass will eventually become an excessively expensive premium service that prices most gamers out. Microsoft will be that third party publisher and the biggest one and Game Pass kinda gets in the way of that at these prices.
I agree that GP will go away once they drop hardware because Sony and Nintendo will never allow it on their platforms and 3rd parties aren't putting their shyt on it Day 1 as it is.

Going publisher is the way to go (been said this), but they better hope the games under their umbrella don't fall off.

At the end of the day you just got make good games and you will make money. Xbox hasn't been doing that so they are trying everything else to try and make it work. But people like me aren't suddenly going to become PC gamers if you don't have games to offer us. Playstation makes games i want to play. They do not, outside of Fable. One game isn't enough

It's not about just being profitable. It's about growing the business. Sony is a public traded company. They can't be content with just being profitable they need to show shareholders growth. They need to increase their margins. What do you think lead them to the live service shyt? I mean they could have just kept doing what they've been doing in the first place right? Why would they switch up?

Gamepass not going away it’s a way to make money with less effort. Gamepass allows the cloud and the ability to play games on devices around the world. Why would they get rid of Gamepass. shyt is on TV like Netflix. Gamepass is here to stay.

Microsoft ain’t giving that money up just cause sony stans want them to :mjlol:

They can fund a new AAA game every month with just the subscription income and STILL sell those games at $70 a pop on playstation :wow:

Making good games don’t mean success :russ: Why you think Sony is releasing their games on PC. Consoles is not the standard anymore it’s a casual box.

It's going away on the console side once Xbox hardware is done. The only gamepass that will exist is PC gamepass if they want to. But that price cannot remain what it is if so.

Their revenue gaming wise is primarily still gonna be console.

Their own hardware is tanking badly. The inevitable is coming whether some like it or not.

They not getting rid of consoles. Microsoft will make devices even though themselves or 3rd party like ASUS Lenovo. Software is the goal and most important part of this gaming shyt bro. Stop acting like you don’t know that. Microsoft is fine making handhelds or whatever while selling shyt on other devices. Microsoft is software and they going to sell that shyt however.

You don’t leave money on the table

you have double digit percentage drops in hardware sales. it's inevitable.

That’s ok Microsoft Surface doesn’t outsell Apple and Samsung. It’s just another form of allowing users to use your system. Do I expect state of the art Hardware in the future. Possibly no but they will continue making hardware.

I know corporate greed exists, the live service pivot was done to chase some quick bucks month to month, quarter to quarter. Sony didn't plan it the right way and clearly didn't think it would make them money if it's just generic branded slop quickly pumped out.

The timed exclusivity on their major 1st party games is giving them an advantage over the other companies, they're offering something other platforms don't have which is those games on day 1. Switch doesn't have the specs to run their games, and PC doesn't get Sony games on day 1.

I think you're overlooking that hardware sales may be boosted next gen because PlayStation will be the only console that gets every 3rd party day one.
