LMAO so you have to speedrun the game and skip all the side quests just to get to the point it becomes amazing. I didn't do that when I played the game because you know, I like to not ignore things that a campaign has to offer. I dropped it. but you can have fun with it if you want.

You can have a high attention span and a high IQ and still think DS is boring as fukk and not worth the personal time investment. Nothing about intelligence, that's some elitist shyt as if youre special for liking this game and missing out on something special for not being patient.
its not speed running to SKIP SIDE QUEST since they arent part of the main game

since you dont know the difference between the words SIDE or MAIN quest just show how stupid you are. Skipping side missions isnt considered speed running, Its just called playing the game to play the main quest.

How come the strongest opinions of this game are coming from people who didn't try it.

All you do is deliver packages and walk.

:usure:, cause thats not all you do.
This is always the case when people decide off rip that they aren’t interested in something. I went in with the comments in the back of my mind that said this game was a boring FedEx simulator. I turn on the game with incredibly low expectations and to my surprise the game hooks me off rip. The story is interesting as hell, the controls are crazy responsive, the graphics are fantastic and the atmosphere is a perfect balance of hopeful and desperation. Most people on here that have played it have felt the same way. The game is definitely more fun than it appears on the surface. It has the stealth elements of metal gear solid. Sure the idea of making deliveries seems corny and rightfully so, but in actual game play the game delivers tension and action. People that haven’t played it would have you believe all you do is pick up boxes and walk forward to a destination and back to watch cutscenes.

But we've had non shooter games with critical acclaim before Death Stranding. :dwillhuh:
Right. Isn't that Goose game currently getting crazy critical acclaim?

I've been watching playthroughs of Death Stranding and I've changed my tune to consider picking this up when it comes to PC, but some of the criticism is valid. A lot of games get criticism for repetitiveness and fetch quests so why should this be any different.
