Jordan played against the 80s Lakers, the 80s Celtics, the late80s-early 90s pistons, the late90s Heat, the 90s knicks, the late 90s pacers, and beat Magic, Drexler, Payton, Barkley, KJ, Malone, and Stockton for titles. this ain't a serious question.
you're talking with nikkas born in the 1990s :heh:

Since their eras kind of overlap the question is kind of strange tbh. I vote Jordan, even though Kobe kind of faced in his early years the same competition as Jordan in his latter days (talking about the end of Bulls era). But if we're talking about overall competition, I'll say Jordan. The main difference is that he was going against teams with goons out there. MJ often (not always) had a physical advantage over other guards, but that's also often the case for Kobe. So on the basis of overall competition, Jordan it is IMO.

Easily Kobe played against better wings than Michael Jordan....it's not even close really.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Manu Ginobili, Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, Tracy McGrady, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Vince Carter >>> Jordan's competition on the wings

I aint even included the B-level wings who Kobe played against (Richard Hamilton's, Peja Stojakovic's, Michael Redd's, Eddie Jones', etc).

Kobe's era is way tougher when it comes to the wing position.

Jordan played against every player in bold and beasted against them all :mjpls:

The only HOF in his prime that Kobe ever matched up against in the playoffs was Iverson. And AI put the torch to that nikka to the point where Phil had to be like :whoa: and put Fisher/Lue on him the rest of the series.

this is the most athletic era for perimeter players in NBA history.

However I dont know if they were better skilled players.

THen again, the game today is more of a perimeter game.

Prolly go either way.

right now is the worst era for shooting guards.
Top 5. is
Old ass Kobe
hurt Wade
Old ass Manu
gay ass harden
no d having ellis

in order to give Kobe an advantage you have to list players that fell off long ago.
like Iverson, Vince Carter, Mcgrady, ect. all of which are players that MJ played against as well.

Thus MJ wins by default because you get to include all the GOAT centers in addition to all the wings that both he and Kobe dominated against. Plus Clyde Drexler was as good or better than any 2 guard kobe ever played against. only wade might have an argument for being better.

damn kobe almost never wins the mj arguments. you have to make it who is better at getting away with rape for him to come out top.

Kobe's era (his prime) he played against a prime Wade, Iverson, McGrady, Carter, Pierce.:whew:

Jordan's era (his prime) played against a prime Reggie Miller, Clyde Drexler, Mitch Richmond, John Starks, and Joe Dumars:lolbron:

How did MJ stack up against Kobe's comp, since you wanna bring it up that he played against them...even though it wasnt his era:

Michael Jordan averaged 23.5 ppg on 45.1% against AI Allen Iverson vs. Michael Jordan | Basketball-Reference.com

Jordan averaged 20.5 ppg on 42.5% against T-Mac Tracy McGrady vs. Michael Jordan | Basketball-Reference.com

Jordan averaged 14.0 ppg on 39.3% against Vince Carter Vince Carter vs. Michael Jordan | Basketball-Reference.com

Jordan averaged 22,5 ppg on 42.6% against Paul Pierce Paul Pierce vs. Michael Jordan | Basketball-Reference.com

I'm just saying :shaq: them numbers are weak breh

:childplease:Kobe played against better comp and Jordan was weak against Kobe's competition.

According to these fatherless MJ stans, everything was better in MJ's era. In fact MJ had a better three point shot than Kobe according to these b*stards.

All you have to know is that during MJ's era, Euros weren't playing ball or weren't as developed, hence the dream team winning by 60+.
