LeBron's 4th quarters against Dallas could be similarly spun. It was just a biased :cape: effort from a Kobe fan and it depicts an inaccurate and dishonest story of what really happened.

We are talking about the Suns defense, a defense Kobe scored 50 points on the previous game, a defense Kobe scored 20+ points against in the 1st half of that game. He then stopped shooting, stopped attacking, stopped doing anything, and this guy wants me to believe that he didn't quit, but he was basically just shut down and completely taken out of the game by the Phoenix defense? I don't see how that is really any better to be honest.

Even so, I would buy this if he was at least acting as a decoy on plays that weren't run for him. If he was at least penetrating to the basket to draw the defense and then kicking out to open shooters. He did none of that. He passed to players 25 feet from the basket and essentially said "here's the ball, create a shot" He didn't look like a guy trying to win a game, he looked like a guy that was determined to show the critics that the team would lose if he didn't shoot as much as he likes to.

He has had a lot of games like that one over his career and they were fairly predictable every time he was coming off one of those 12-37 shooting nights but to do that in a game 7 was :mindblown:

Usually players have to drive to force the double team or force the coverage to come to them. If they're doubling you that far from the basket why wouldn't you just catch it out there and let your team play 4 on 3.

Like I said before there were definitely some seriously questionable games where Kobe just seemed to say fukk it and let his team take the L. But in this one he made the correct plays.

Don't even bring up this fukkin' bum Smush and the rest of that shyt-sandwich Kobe and the rest of the Lakers fans had to endure and forced to watch. :pacspit: You replace anyone like a Jamal Crawford with Smush or any NBA caliber player or starter, the Lakers easily win at least 10-15+ games more with a prime and unstoppable Kobe, no one was fukking with him, but he had complete bums and non-NBA caliber players getting significant minutes. LO was cool, but he was easily the most inconsistent and aggravating player to watch. He would go off in one game for 30+, than for another 10 games go 4-13 and check out at times. Everyone hated Mitch, but since the acquisition of Pau and the other great and underrated moves he has done, we won't remember the bad and terrible moves he made, but trading for Kwame and taking Brian Grant's terrible contract at the time had me like :mindblown: but now we Lakers fans are :myman: cuhz we know who runs this shyt

Great post.

This is why I laugh when people criticize Kobe for the way he played back then. Obvious trolling.

This is clearly personal. What is the legit beef?
I don't know the particulars, but I'd imagine being a marginal NBA talent starting on a team with Kobe Bryant in the prime of his abilites and thirsting to win another championship is not one of the more pleasant work environments as far as pro sports go...It's a good chance Smush took his fair share of verbal abuse and a general overall constant air of disdain, condescension and resentment directed his way from Bean...and Smush is prolly one of those guys that's not gonna take that with a smile on his face...from nobody... the fact that he was a bum lucky to be in the NBA and on his way out notwithstanding...very obvious clash of personalities

As for that game 7 in 2006

2006 1st Round, Game 7 - Lakers lost by 31

Halftime
Kobe - 21 points, 8 Made FGs
Rest of Lakers - 24 points, 9 Made FGs

Kobe shot 50% for the game. Rest of his teammates 32%.

This whole Kobe quit in Game 7 thing originate after Brons game 5 in Boston. It's hilarious. 27 points in the first half had em down 20 so he tried something else. Get that hate out ya heart

That wasn't the first time Kobe did that...and it wasn't the last time either.

@ArashMarkazi

Kobe Bryant: "Smush Parker was the worst. He shouldn't have been in the NBA but we were too cheap to pay for a point guard."

:deadrose:

smush had to of have smashed vanessa.

no smush ran his mouth the moment he left the lakers. always had a smart remark about kobe. then once smush was out of the league playing street ball in new york(no lie, goto youtube and find the video). smush was talking wreckless then. so kobe said eff it. back at you smush. the thing is, what kobe says about smush is 100% accurate.

so if smush says something like "kobe is a hot dog" the answer will be YES he should be with you as his teammate.

Kobe made smush. smush before kobe was below a scrub and out of the nba. smush during kobe had his best season EVER. he goes to miami they just came off of a champioship and some guys are gone. but the 2 main guns are still there. shaq, dwade, and a young haslem. smush did horrible. and that was the last the nba saw of him.

what does that tell you? smush SUCKED and KOBE made him. so whatever he says negative about kobe is STUPID. if some guy is the reason why i finally got a few mil payday. why would i ever say anything negative about him? doesnt make sense. UNLESSSSS you're bitter yourself, and you believe you are better then you really are.

This is clearly personal. What is the legit beef?

you saw kobe's words. he said "i've told these guys to their faces. this same stuff" so he's saying back then he called them lazy, and more or less bums. was he wrong? NOPE

see i would be all up in arms if he did that to guys that turned themselves into something. that didnt happen.

remember him saying "SHIP HIS A>>>> OUT" about bynum. not because bynum was a bum. but because bynum was so raw and someone said we could've had a prime Jkidd. heck yeah ship him out. but what happened. bynum drew up. even though he kept getting fluke injuries. he kept getting better and better and better. kobe respected that and told him as much. bynum turned himself into a monster. he's still in the nba. he and kobe are cool. no problems at all. the only time kb has a problem with you is when he catches you being lazy(fat shaq coming into camp out of shape), and acting like you're good when you arent. he MADE smush. check the stats. smush owes that man like half of his nba money. if it wasnt for bean. smush would've never seen a check over the league minimum. thats an indisputable fact ladies and gents.
