Why do people keep saying Pau deserved the FMVP for 2010? Just because Kobe shot a low percentage in Game7? Even LeBron has had finals where he's shot below average from the field. Hell, in 2013 he shot 45%. Does that mean the FMVP should've gone to Wade? I need to check Pau's 2010 Finals stats.

:patrice:

Wade played good but Lebron shot 45 from the field, 35 from 3, 80 from FT while averaging 25 10 7 2 1

While Kobe was over here putting up Lebron James 2016 Finals stats when he had no chance...and playing 48 mins...

28 points on 40 30 88 shooting splits with Pau Gasol on his team putting up 19 10 4 2 on 48 shooting

Kobe didn't deserve FMVP...he was shooting them out the game

Everyone was shooting terribly as the series progressed, on both teams. Even Pau shot 35% from the field in game 7. While we all know Kobe could've used discernment in some of his shot selections as his career progressed, as the series progressed and both teams were playing stout defense, Kobe played as well as if not better than anyone else under the circumstances. In a game where inefficiency reigns, Kobe stoodout. I think it'd be important to look at his defensive efficiency and his assist to TO ratio also. He didn't necessarily shoot them out the game, anymore than Boston just clamping down on everyone and vice versa.

Ray was regarded as the greatest shooter of all time at the time, and Miami recruited him to just hit open 3's. That's a HUGE upgrade. He changed the offense and took them to another level because his presence added another dimension to the space and pace offense. No matter how old ray was, he was recruited to be a shooter and his addition gave Miami an even greater competitive advantage over other teams.

Kobe had Ariza, Vujacic, Horry, Fisher, should I keep going ?

MJ had Kerr and Kukoc who were top 3 shooters in the game.

I'm not saying Ray didn't make a difference though

Kobe is going to go as far as his team takes him just like any other player. Kobe got knocked out of the playoffs many times because he didn't have a strong enough team so stop acting like he couldn't get eliminated when he has many of times. He was up 3-1 on the Suns and lost so just hush nikka.
Kobes proven he only needs 1 other all-star to win, bron needs 2 other All-stars to get out of weak eastern conference.

If GS wins tonight 3-6 bron haters gonna be ready ready to tear the club up

He just did what he does now. Turns bums into Allstars and gets the absolute peak out his teams until he runs into a team with overwhelming talent.

He averaged 39 - 10 and 10 on 50% vs the Magic. Kobe on his best night in a meaningless regular season game is never sniffing those numbers :manny:
:mjlol:
Lies

We rounding 8 boards and 8 assists to 10 now?

Shameless:scust:
