I wonder if Kobe will ever become a vocal semi-pundit black conservative, or even run for office as a Repub like Lynn Swann.

This is an interesting development. All these years we never knew this guy's views on anything.
this would be hilarious. On some Barkley shyt :heh:

Its funny to see all these people mad at their "superhero" showing his true color.

Don't you think the fact that Kobe nearly went to jail for something he didn't do has given him a different perspective on objectivity in situations like this?

All he's really saying in this quote is he's not going to rush to comment on something where he has no idea what actually happened, just based alone on race. I have no idea what his personal feelings on Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman are based on this quote, and nobody else does either. And I prefer it that way.

This is nonsense, and doesnt make any sense. Classic double talk. The "facts" were available from day one, with respect to the particulars of the incident and the "fact" that George Zimmerman wasnt being charged with a crime.

Exactly how long were black people supposed to wait until they formed an opinion? Did Kobe or whomever is supporting his words consult the "facts", and come to the conclusion that GZ shouldnt even receive a trial in front of a jury of his peers for murdering an unarmed child? If you arent aware of the case, then why are you speaking on this and assuming others are as clueless as you?

Its pretty obvious here that you guys want to dance around a pro-white, pro-Zimmerman, inhumanely anti black opinion, but dont have the heart to articulate it.

Kobe's general sentiment is fine --- why is he attaching it to the Trayvon saga?

This bolded sentence is the problem with this discussion. nikkas getting so emotional they aren't even making sense. The fact that you would somehow gather THAT from that generic ass quote Kobe had??? It's unbelievable. I don't even understand how you could get anywhere in the same ballpark as "Kobe didn't think Zimmerman should have even gone to trial" based on Kobe's quote. You're arguing against something that isn't there.

He found a problem with people being upset with George Zimmerman walking free. Black people needed a lesson on how to progress as a society because they' "showed out" when asking the law to use their authority and at least arrest Zimmerman?

That's bullshyt

People still have to go to court. You can't kill someone under questionable circumstances, give an explanation to cops, and then go home without a subsequent court case.

Whitlock thinks this is a deliberate attempt by Kobe to market himself as "one of the good" fair-minded negroes of the Obama era and endear himself to cacs who still think he's a racist. Possibly related to his post-retirement business interests that he just announced Do we agree with this theory or is this just Kobe being Kobe?

Its not a "generic ass kobe quote"...it was a direct quote in which kobe questioned the motivations of Lebron and the heat, and black people in general, for being upset over a murderer not being a arrested for his crime.
