Kobe Bryant isn't going anywhere

I was constantly talking about how Kobe was disrespected, and not by posters on here cause we talk shyt about everybody but really by the media, even the night he retired, a former player on ESPN2 said he wasn’t even a top 20 player of all time. I understand if people feel like MJ, Bron, or Kareem was better but no reason for the media in the past 4 years to treat Kobe the way they did.

Just watching some of the National Media and they seem caught off guard about Kobe's connection to the city and the people. Like shyt if you didn't spend the last 15 years hating on the man you would have known he meant so much to so many. Kobe's influence was real, and he empowered so many across many walks of life

And not to go off on a tangent, but I hope they now understand why people weren't so happy about them forcing Bron as the King of LA. Kobe was LA

My favorite Kobe moment was when he gave my Spurs the business in the 2002 playoffs. We had gotten Steve Smith that offseason to solve our 2-guard roles and Kobe just absolutely obliterated him. TD and Shaq cancelled each other out that series but Kobe just...it was incredible to watch. I know the series was good as over when he stole game 4 from us.

in his last game hes a shell of his mvp self playing on a very bad team against a mediocre utah team and he conjures up his last bit of magic and you feel like youre watching the biggest game ever. amazing performance and an amazing atmosphere.
