I wish I would have got to see Kobe play live, especially during that game. What a shot.
I saw Kobe play the night he went off in Boston to where TD Garden was chanting MVP for Kobe.

I was still in college and I lived next to a hardcore Laker fan from LA. A lot of my hoops memories from that time were connected to those years where Kobe went off and slaughtered teams.

This isnt right, yhey have never done tbis for those who tragically passed away before.

They need to take the emotionalism out of it and select him when he first becomes eligible.

If not this needa to become the norm from now on, if a person is eligible and they die they go in the same year as they die or they can be put.up for vote, since they are establishing this precedent.

They lowered the eligibility wait time well before this. He was eligible this year.

Just on Saturday I saw a former spurs writer, now a writer for nba.com throw up one of them LeBron is better than Kobe articles. I hope he feels like a piece of shyt now, the last thing he said about Kobe was a hit piece to diminish his legacy.

I was constantly talking about how Kobe was disrespected, and not by posters on here cause we talk shyt about everybody but really by the media, even the night he retired, a former player on ESPN2 said he wasn’t even a top 20 player of all time. I understand if people feel like MJ, Bron, or Kareem was better but no reason for the media in the past 4 years to treat Kobe the way they did.

The hate for him was next level, and I hope all those writers who spent years taking unnecessary shots at him, those guys at Bleacher Report who constantly make "top so and so lists" of NBA players and constantly rank him low, I hope they feel like shyt.

They diminished his 20 year body of work as a pro for clicks and social media engagements. fukk em all.

I already explained the mix up.
On top of that they merged the initial thread I posted.in, to this one.

My fav Kobe moment was one that may be overlooked but let's take it back to May 2010

I was dating a chick who was living in Brooklyn. So I decided to go up to NY for the weekend so her and she suggested we go to ESPN Zone in Times Square to watch the game. It was game 6 WCF vs Phoenix, and a trip to the Finals was at stake. I will never forget the reaction of everybody in the bldg in the 4th qtr when Kobe kept hitting clutch shot after clutch shot. I've seen Kobe live a dozen times but that was the moment I knew he reached his pinnacle. To beat Phoenix, and hitting all those tough shots with Grant Hill draped all over him, it was a surreal moment.
