With respect, that's a pretty dumb rule
When do you suggest to buy a Rolex watch?
With respect, that's a pretty dumb rule
After seeing a shyt ton of watches in Switzerland, I decided that designer watches are best as investments or assets.
but I doubt I’d wear them out simply because I’m not flashy, I just prefer the clean look.
I’d buy them when I feel like I’ve already invested enough of my money in other things that make money quicker.
it’s like have thousand dollar capsules that will appreciate thru time passed.
actually I find those type of watches symbolic in a sense.
i dont know any but a lot of people collect unique/special made watches. john mayer is a big big watch collector and i think his watch collection value is in the millions.
Got my Breitling, next is an Omega Seamaster probably next year.
Doesn’t feel right dropping the P on something excessive this year but not a Rolex as I still don’t feel in love with any of their models
my favorites, was about to mention them then I seen you said something bout them

of course i am not looking at all to get these because i cant see me being hova level but what you think of the watches he shouts out.
- hublot
- audemar
- patek
-etc.
like if you won a prize for a watch, what would you like ? do you respect those brands ?

Whenever you want. Some people will spend hundreds totalling to thousands on designer clothes. I know bytches with handbags that ran them a couple k. I don't think you can have an arbitrary rule on when to buy a nice watch
But of course this is all relative because it depends what level of watch you're going for as....
... The watches mentioned above are SERIOUS watches and a tier above a rollie or an omega
Audemar? As a gift? fukk yeah
Got my Breitling

hublot
My rollie is my life. Copped it almost a year ago on my bday. YachtMaster.
Rollies are a great investment as they never really loss value or go down past MSRP. Even in the slump of economy now my used pricing is holding at cost pretty much still. They are a better investment broadly speaking then APs and Pateks as well however as someone said APs and Pateks are next level.
If you would put them in order IMO being a huge watch guy:
Patek
AP
Rolex
Hublot(even tho MUCH more expensive then rolex they lose SOOOO much value)
Omega
Tudor
Breitling
Here's mine:
Bless up brehssss
Breitlings are for pilots.
No. Just no.
I see that Rona is affecting my Coli brehs taste.
