I feel you, of these new school cats, I don'tdon't think I heard one is about being in love...not on some thug I'mma put it down shyt, just pure love. These singers are raunchier and more explicit than rappers, plus they can't sing

Then of course every "r&b" song is just a rap song in disguise - I heard a new neyo song and was feeling it, it was r&b, then of course he had an obligatory rap feature (juicy j)...the genre is struggling so hard right now

I never thought I would see the day R & B would be dead in the mainstream world. We had it good.

I blame the excessive cursing and the use of trap beats on songs. That shyt should not be used in R&B at all.
