Dude didn't even mention them not being black enough, why is Xavier even bringing that up in this discussion?

This is in response to @Wheresmypassport Did you read what Woods wrote? He tried to reduce all these wrestlers to only 3 categories. And youre tryin boil these characters down to similarities and i get that many of them were stereotypes but those characters broke the mold of the basic jive talking black men or coco b ware dancers. And i didnt even mention a dude like lashley who got to just be a plain dude. And my main point was that new day aren't breaking any molds... its been broken. It was broken back in the 80s and 90s. All you did was point out thr negative in all the characters. The real issue is lack of world title reigns. But woods is wrong here...everybody sees this blatant c00nery. Again with that said we was all partying off that #blackexcellence pic they took with rich and sasha. Its only fair we criticize the shyt too.

Xavier said "There was a time where being black meant that you were either foreign, a dancer, or you were simply the big black strong guy"

That's exactly who the New Day is now
:francis:
This cat is coming out dancing for money every week...cool he wants to defend himself against st a bozo but he is using 4th wall comedy and dancing to stay over.

Xavier broke it down in the most intelligent of ways. That whole "not black enough" issue is one of the most terrible experiences you can have as an educated black minority. To this day at my job I still recieve the whole "you are so articulate, good for you (which might as well be followed by ******)" "compliment" from white people. So good for Xavier for bringing this into casual perspective. This idiot is lucky it was Xavier and NOT Big E btw.

Coming up...how many times have I been described by multiple women (Black, Mexican, white, Asian, Indian)...with these exact words.."Clearly you're HIGLY INTELLIGENT"...I wish I had a dime for every time I heard it. And I would say, honey, I've been shocking teachers and been ahead of the fray since I entered high school. The days I used to get accused of plagiarism because my Economics teacher didn't believe I wrote my paper from scratch:laugh: Told her "Ms. Norton..there is no one that talks like me. This is second nature." Genius doesn't get appreciated until it's proven week after week apparently.

How often do comedy wrestlers get to hold titles for over a year? That's without even mentioning them being a black comedy trio. There's a ton of black culture references that fly right over the heads of the majority of WWE's audience and yet they still got over. The funny thing is, I enjoyed the majority of the guys you mentioned. As far as me mentioning negative aspects of their characters, that's because if we're gonna call New Day c00ns for their act, I'm gonna point out things that could be seen as "c00nish" about the others. If we're gonna call black entertainers c00ns for having majority white audiences, then why aren't artists who pedal black genocide and irresponsibility to the same majority never given that label? :jbhmm:

Kofi hasn't been billed from or as Jamaican in like 9 years now. He did it for a year and they dropped it completely. It was his idea since he's super into reggae. I don't know why you guys are still talking about it like they still say he's Jamaican.
