I woulda took either Haliburton or Brogdon in a Simmons trade. Simmons automatically puts the GM who trades for him in the hot seat unless Simmons turns into Klay.

Part of the reason why I wanted Haliburton was we can send Simmons to another conference. Im not trying to give Kevin Durant a DPOY nikka who would play the Draymond role for them. Whatever offensive deficiency he has Durant/Kyrie will cover it up. (That is if Kyrie ever becomes a FT player)

If Haliburton is the man as y’all are claiming him to be, he wouldn’t have gotten traded

That's not how this works. Kings created a logjam by drafting Mitchell, so of course they had to get rid of one of the 3, hard to trade Fox because he's the man, and you just got Mitchell. Haliburton was the odd man out

This is what happens when people with no understanding about basketball run NBA franchises.

Your team needs more defense, not less. So you trade for a guy who plays barely any defense. Oh ok. Sabonis is a great guy who needs to be paired with defensive minded teammates. A team like Warriors would have been perfect for him but dumbass Myers thinks Wiseman is generational player or something lol.

Fox and Bagley look like they don't even want to play in Sacramento, why trade Tyrese then? They had Tyrese for potentially 5 years. You are putting your all hopes in Sabonis trade where if it fails your entire core will no longer want to be a part of your franchise. All of that for hoping to hop on the 10th seed, yikes!
If Mitchell is as good as they think he'll be defensively, then there you have it. Otherwise, why draft him?

As for the Warriors, no one will take Wiseman until he actually plays. Otherwise if you're gonna blow it up, might as well hope you get Jabari Smith/Chet/Banchero/even Duren.

Not shytting on Sabonis, but IMO, with the logjam that the Kings have at PG, it seems to have made more sense to move on from Fox and keep Haliburton simply because he's still on a rookie deal.

Seems like an aimless move for Sacramento. They're committed to Fox now obviously tho.
