With the Royal Rumble winner getting a title shot along with MITB it's tough to have another PPV based around a wrestler getting a guaranteed title shot. But it can be done and KOTR should be part of the big PPV's they push like WM RR Summerlam Survivor Series and MITB. If they booked it right they could make a new star every year but the last few times they did it on tv it felt rushed and it didn't really benefit the winner in the long run.

For it to work, they'd need to draw up a storyline and stick to it. If 2015 Vince were to do it - the tournament would suddenly finish it two weeks in with no explanation, never to be heard from again.

would love to see King of The Ring return...it should be expanded to like how the New Japan G1 is. Have like 16 or more participants. Have the tourny start on Raw...Also have matches on Smackdown, Main Event, and Superstars all culminating at the PPV...it could start fueds...rematches...runners up could challenge for one of the other belts

On the real tho, fukk a tournament. What we need is for every male on the roster to wrestle each other once, 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. Dude with most points at the end gets a shot and a Cup. Dude wit least points gets relegated to NXT
