Thing is, we know they'd put the IC champ and the US champ in there for some fukking reason. feuds for these titles seem to just be random or just thrown together right before the ppv

Throwing all thatvstar power in it is not needed
Have the first round between two weeks. Each first round match up main events a raw and smackdown for two weeks
Second roubd u have those matches the third week. Fourth and final match you have at the ppc where u build it up as the winner becomes king of the ring and gets a title shot at summerslam or royal rumble. U now have plenty of guys doing something for at least a month or so or more via a 4 week tournament

U could have a random upset like kofi beats ryback and makes it to the finals and faces rusev maybe he wins or loses but u at least give them a chance to be tested out in a match that means something.
